All DirecTV must to be connected to a phone line. No need to worry if your phone jack is not near the TV. The Wireless Phone Jack turns any standard outlet into a phone jack.

Great idea- but doesn’t work unless your’re really close
Great shipping, great service from the seller. However, unit was awful. Worked sporadically if you had line of sight, or less than 15 feet. Any further than 15 feet and they would lose connectivity or simply stop working altogether. My intention was to use them to go from my incoming line to a receiver 10 feet above on the next floor, and it did not work through anything but open air
