Lovely, colourful blocks, bought for my autistic son who loves us to make words together. Good quality and a nice size, sturdy too for his frustrated moments when they banged together. Great for learning phonics and spelling.

My granddaughter loved the brick they are made well really, good quality very educational great value.

Beautifully packaged in tissue paper with 'newspaper print' on it and all tied up with a lovely bow. Inside is a wooden box with slide top and a little note from the packer. The blocks are bright colours on 2 sides and printed on all the other sides with animals and letters. The colour sides have numbers and letters and are just the right size for small hands but too large to eat. Toys that educate made like toys should be made.

A lovely product, very well made and presented in beautiful packaging. Sadly, the blocks are much smaller than we’d hoped they would be and are not suitable for the purpose we bought them for. We thought they would make a nice prop to use in our baby and toddler photography sessions but the small size of the blocks makes them look really insignificant in the pictures. If you’re buying as an educational and traditional gift for a baby then you won’t go wrong, as the quality is lovely.

I was very pleased when I received this. The package was small and light and I was a bit worried, given other reviews, that it might not be suitable perhaps too small or not of good quality. But I was very happy when I unwrapped it. I took photos just so people can see what you get, even the wrapping is a pleasure!My less than one year old granddaughter was able to pick the pieces up with ease, they were perfect for her small hands and light enough for her be able to knock down the towers that Granddad and big brother build (that's the fun thing at the moment!) without damaging anything around her. The letters and pictures on the blocks are clear and, based on the use my grandson got out of his blocks at her age, I can see them being used for years to come. All in all, a real bargain and I will definitely buy from Jaques of London again.

A lot smaller than I thought but not small enough to be a choking hazard. My two year old loves them and has even started to identify some letters. Highly recommended

Very high quality toy, will probably last for the grandkids as well as our boy. Clearly made with care and great attention to detail. No sharp edges and all the wood is very well sanded. Not only will it be a great toy but itll look great in his nursery as decoration. The packaging was sturdy with a wonderful personal touch.Hugely recommend this company generally and this product specifically.

This was so unexpected, as in the presentation was outstanding. It comes in a lovely printed cardboard box that is tied with a ribbon all printed with their name of company then you open that and you have the actually wooden box that houses the bricks and even this is wrapped in tissue paper with a card with the name of who packed this item. I was more exciied than the child lol. And the bricks are great pictures letter numbers all easy to see. Absolutely a wonderful product. Will certainly be buying more for presents.. wish I could give 5 star +.
