Stay on and durable.
Work well on ice but do not stick out far enough to probe nto snow or ice very far. Very easy to put on and stay on. I do need to take off outside as I have hardwood floors and nice rugs that I do not want to tear up. The cleats have worked well and the only reason I have replaced some is where I accidently used my foot to step on the shovel. Several of them broke off and went flying. They still worked well, just need to be careful because I for one forget theu are on. Lightweight, you can leave on shoes for outside and not need to take on and off of the shoes. I wore them all winter and never had an issue with them coming off, even when my stow path got soft and I sunk up past my knees.Wore on barn dirt and hay floor, ice, snow, and shoveled siewalk and stairs. Small enough to easily take with you in a pack if needed.

Worth it
Used these during a week long trip in snow and ice. Bought 3 at 6.59 for medium and 6.79 for the large. Worked wonderfully on the icy surfaces. It let me walk normal and I felt very surefooted, instead of always looking down and making sure I was going around all the icy patches or slowly walking over the icy patches when I was not wearing them. After some long walks, my feet did feel tired from using them all day, but not sore. Hot shower and light massage got rid of the tiredness, better than not wearing them and end up walking funny or worse falling and getting hurt. Easy to put on and easy to take off. Comes with some replacement metal grips, which is nice because I did loose 1 or 2, thankfully the shoe grip as a whole still worked the same until I could replace the missing metal.

Almost Perfect, Just A Bit Too Big
Works 100%. I'm a photographer and have to get on the ice to do team shots at hockey games. Used to happen at the end of the game where the ice was nicely chopped up and easy to walk on with sneakers, but everyone kept staying on afterward to take selfies, delaying the Zamboni and the following games, so team shots were moved to the start of the game. That fresh ice is CRAZY slippery! Took a dive my first time out, so I had to pick up anything that would help me stay upright.I first tried something similar to these, but they wrapped stainless wire coils in X shaped patterns on the bottom of the soles. Unfortunately, they froze up after about 20 seconds, and then became nearly useless after collecting and holding ice. These, on the other hand, work almost perfectly from the very first step! Very secure traction, no matter the condition of the ice.My only gripe is that they're a bit big. I'm a 10.5 wide, so I bought the size stated for 8-11 feet. Unfortunately, they were a bit loose, so they started slipping to the side (see 2nd picture). I'll be trying one size smaller to see if they fit better, but I'll definitely keep these, since my shoes in the future may be larger on the outside.

Perfect timing for the freezing rain. Some caveats.
I just got these and we had freezing rain last night. I left the house to walk the dog and both of us started slipping when I remembered these cleats. So I went back and slipped these on and the rest of my walk was a breeze. I never slipped even on my heavily sloped driveway. I'll have to keep these next to the front door until spring.I bought the large even though I wear a size 12 shoe and they fit fine. I read one comment about how stretchy they are and they do accommodate a wide range of sizes. Some commented on them sliding around but mine stayed in place just fine.Update: 1/19/17I used these cleats to shovel some wet heavy snow and when I was finished I found that two studs had come out. I also noticed that one of the cleats had slipped out of position. Of course this was under some stress since pushing the snow required some significant force but those issues are real.I still think they're great to have but I would think about buying some replacement studs if your going to use these for anything other than walking.Update: 2/16/17Down 1 star. OK, I lost 7 studs this morning shoveling. Fortunately I received the replacement studs so I can repopulate them but this sounds like a money pit. Maybe I'll break down and buy the more YakTrax Yaktrax Run Traction Cleats for Running on Snow and Ice, Small or resign myself to using these only for walking the dog.

Great price and worked for me!
Walked all over Gooseberry falls when covered in ice this February-I watched a girl slip on the ice and hurt her ankle-she should have had these grippers on. (Don't worry she had help immediately and was taken care of.)

Slide off boots easily
At first I was delighted with how easily the ice grips slipped onto my boots. However the very stretchy silicone rubber slips off just as easily and the cleats slide out of their holes. I use these for dog walking in Minnesota where winter is serious business and have had several pairs over the years. I know what to expect. During the first outing with these I lost one along the way. To be fair, I had clambered through a snow drift and figured it was my own fault, so I ordered another pair. I now have just under six miles on the new set and have lost and recovered a grip twice as well as lost three cleats. As shown in the pic, I've tied the grips to the boot laces so I won't lose them again until I can replace them with a decent product. Ice grips should also have the back cleats on the heel, not under the arch. If all you need do is creep out to the mailbox and back, these will be ok. For any hiking they're a bad choice.

Don’t leave home without ‘em when it’s icy out!
I fell on black ice 13 years ago! Had to have surgery for a compression fracture. No fun! I have had several pairs of ice cleats- They really make a difference in how you approach icy walkways and build your confidence deciding to brave the weather. The only negative is forgetting where you put them in the Spring😡
