Completely useless. CAUSES DAMAGE TO BOLTS AND TRUCK

This seems to be a sturdy tool. I bought it with my first board. I had to tighten the king pin & the base plate screws. The tool did the job. I find feel like it was going to snap if I twisted it. I actually tightened one screw a bit too much and had to torque back a bit. The tool felt… sturdy.The “L” shaped insert (Phillips head on one end, hex head on the other) is solid metal. It’s a bit small for my adult hands, but is a good size. It fits securely into the T-handle. I don’t think I’ll lose it unless I lay it down and walk off.

Got the tool which is great, just didnt come with the spacers so im bummed about that

A simple Skate key, what could go wrong!?Well something can: the plastic shaft of the kingpin side is too big for some hangars and the tool doesn’t fit at all onto the nut, which makes it kinda useless in that end (that is the case for a new board which I bought this tool for, so that was frustrating.)It should be noted that this is not the case for all trucks, that’s why there is so many good reviews. It didn’t fit my Ventures V-Lights and Indys, where on 3 other boards it works no problem.Anyway I just took a carpenter knife to it and sliced the excess plastic of. Hopefully it will hold up. It’s a $6 tool, can’t be too upset about it.

Lasted only one strong twist, broke right away.

My 13M has been skating for years and seems to lose the tool about once a year. He was pretty pumped to get this at Christmas and says it is a great tool and works perfectly.

When your screws and your trucks are getting loose, this little tool come into play.Sturdy, cheap and easy to carry.Highly recommended
