Q: how much is the secondary resistance ? how many ohms?

About 40,000 volts. When checking resistance with meter you should have between .4 to 2 ohms on primary side and between 6,000 and 15,000 ohms on secondary side of coil pack.

Q: What is the difference between the fd-498t and the fd-498? they both are for the same vehicle.

fd-498 is part of the Blue Streak series and is black. fd-498t is gray. Yes they fit the same vehicles. Web site offers no additional info.

Q: What's the warranty on it?

I don't know how long the warranty is. I ordered it to replace the bad coil pack on my 2002 Ford Ranger V6. At the time of the install it had 89.000 miles. I gave the truck to my daughter and she drove it another 50,000 miles before giving it to my grandson who drove it for another year driving it from Missouri to Deer Park, TX every two weeks. He traded it for a new truck but the Ranger was still running great. For the price compared to the dealer price I thought I'd try it. I would order the same part again.
