Tasco Essentials 12x25 Binocular

First thing's first - These are cheap mediocre binos. No two ways about, they're just not that great. If you're a hunter looking for serious optics, these are not for you. I pack them as part of my field kit for training exercises. Stuck on tower guard? Binos. Tasked with recon? Binos. Teaching ROTC and the Cadets never think to spend a few bucks on something like this even though the leader's recon is part of almost every mission? Binos. And somehow they're still in good shape. Not a great field of view or magnification but for what they are? I love these things.

Bought these for hunting. The optics are clear and the distance I can see is father than I can shoot. This allows me to see the animal earlier and track it. I took off 1 star for 2 reasons. One, the adjustment knob had a little play in it and two, the lens fogged up a couple times during use in the cold morning air. Other than those minor issues they work well. For the amount I paid they are still a great buy.

I bought the 12x25 as a replacement for an old pair of Tasco auto focus compact bino's that were lost to time. It's really hard to find auto focus in an affordable pair of decent binoculars nowadays. Having "settled" on these, I now think I spent too much time searching for a pair with that feature and not giving others a chance. These are great. I bought them to use out in the woods for hunting, bird watching, and in general just for seeing things that are far away. They are the same size as my old pair, lightweight, and seem pretty durable. Great purchase for a great price.

I bought this for my son's 3 days science camp trip. The lenses are good. Very clear. But after coming back from science camp trip, it was started disintegrated. First the adjustable side lenses came out. It was due to the glue was not strong to hold the adjustable lenses part. Then the hinge part was broken by itself. So fragile. It was made out of poor cast iron. Within a couple of weeks of use, it was ended in the trash can. I would not recommend to it anyone due to quality of reliable issue.

Optics not sharp. Okay for the price. The binocs feel rugged and maybe a bit heavier than they need to be. But for budget binoculars, they're not bad and I don't regret adding them to my backpack.

Small and compact is what this is for. Excellent for hikers where weight and size is a luxury. I had no issue hiking and carrying this in my pack vs. a large bino. This works for what it is and the price. Its not crystal clear but it works good enough for the price and purpose.

Function versus Economics is more than suitable for the casual adventurer out in the bush. A bit heavy for their size, but worth it. I can do with these, what most snobs do with their $500+ glasses. I'd rather put my money into a Rolex, there's no cheap alternative there; but binos, these will do for me.

These binoculars worked great for a bit. My son really liked them, but the assembly in one of the eyepieces broke (we're not sure what happened since they were well-cared for) so one of the prisms now floats free, which makes the binoculars near impossible to use. We only had these a few months before they broke...but long enough to be outside the return time frame.

以前持っていた双眼鏡が使えなくなり購入しました。値段の割には見やすいと思います。
