Bright, but the TCP app is hard to use
I have tried 4 brands of connected lights (and 10+ bulbs): (1) Belkin WeMo A19, (2) GE Link A19 & BR30, (3) Philips Hue (A19 & BR30), Hue Lux, Iris, and Tap Switch, and (4) TCP Connected A19, BR30, and PAR.The pros and cons of the products are:In terms of set up, all of them takes extremely long to connect to their hubs. It may be fine if one just installs one bulb at a time. However, this becomes a huge problem when I tried to connect 10+ light bulbs at once. Also, it is hard to name the light bulbs or the room. Innovation still is needed to make this easier. TCP’s user interface is not user friendly. I was only able to create 9 rooms (because each room needs different colors). In terms of user friendly or compatible with the existing practice, all of them need constant power. When my family members use existing wall switches, then they don’t work anymore. Innovation still is needed to make this easier. In terms of controlling on/off/dim level/color, I really like Philips Hue. In particular, I can now make my own 3-way, 4-way, or even n-way at any location that I like. However, the tab is too thick to put it on the wall.In terms of control speed, GE Link takes about 3 seconds to respond to a command when it is connected to Wink. This is incredibly long. Others respond much faster. In terms of software update, I don’t feel comfortable that Belkin needs to take 10 minutes away for firmware update. Within those 10 minutes, I cannot control anything. In terms of physical size, TCP’s A19 is larger than others, as a result, it does not work well for all light fixtures.Personally, I will not recommend people to buy any of the products yet. If you really want to try one, try Philips Hue. If you are not in a hurry, please wait. There must be a better solution.

I would not recommend this item
This item is/was very disappointing. It was supposed to work with Wink Home Automation. It DOES not! It will not work with its own system. Tech support is awful!!! I would not recommend this item!

TCP Connected going out of business?
They just shut down their cloud service and it no longer works with Wink. One day notice from Wink. No notice from TCP.
