Sure Get One (Or A Few), But Curb Your Enthusiasm
Hi.I'm here to help you manage your expectations.Bought several as gifts quite a while back, and have been able to track their useful life since then.Yes, this is exactly the blade length, blade/grip color, grip, lock, and easy-open mechanism you see advertised. No, it not comparable to even an entry level Gerber or Kershaw.Use it for kicks, and definitely as a spare tool for the glovebox in your car- just in case. After all, the window smasher and seat-belt cutter are included for that reason- in the event you need to break OUT of a car that has flipped or is quickly sinking in deep water.Frankly, for the price, I don't know why you wouldn't get on of these for that purpose. And perhaps to use as a burner blade on wood crafts like whittling (MWGA!)- you can always sharpen this. But if you need to field dress an animal, or think you might need to do defensive blade work- look elsewhere. This simply does not have the ability to withstand intense lateral shear.Either the main pivot point will break (if you're lucky).Or the blade itself will break (if you're unlucky). Now you know. And, well... knowing is the half the battle.

Excellent Budget EDC Knife!!!
The media could not be loaded. So I've been around knives a lot, and spent hours and hours searching for the best budget EDC knife I could find that 1 looks good, 2 has an seat belt cutter 3 has a glass window breaker, 4 feels good in the hand, 5 is decent size but not too big, 6 around $10. MTech really delivered with this one they fit all of the above and I am beyond impressed with the quality l. Just sharpen your knife every month or so and it's perfect for 99%of everyday needs. I keep this with my EDC bag in case I ever need it. Decent self defense knife too if that's what you're looking for the grip is great, but I have a 9mm for that this is just for emergencies like car crashes or whatever etc. Definitely recommend for the price and value. Side note, they also do a decent budget neck knife as well that I also recommend.

Great scary knife for protection
I got one of these from another site a few years ago and really liked it but it was kind of expensive due to it being used for giveaway purposes. So it cost like $40. When I found it on here for around 11 dollars it was a no-brainer so I bought two more. I keep them in each of our vehicles just in case and for opening packages and stuff like that. I think if anybody sees you holding that thing they'll walk the other way so I think it's a good deterrent in some cases. I like the weight and ease of opening the knife. I also like the fact that it has the seat belt cutter and glass breaker built into it. It's heavy but in a good way.

BIGGER than it looks!
Good knife, with a well-made feel. Shipped new-in-box with plenty of packing grease (wipe it down before you put it in your pocket). Speaking of pockets, this knife is LARGE. Yes, it does say 5" in the description, but don't forget to look for a width dimension, it's easily over 2" wide at the hilt and the blade is much broader than the picture suggests. It will probably end up in the glove box. Open assist spring is plenty strong for this big blade though, in fact it takes intentional effort to close it. The blade is well sharpened, we'll see how long that lasts and how well it take a new edge from various sharpeners. I have a smaller MTech that does pretty good, with a good sharpener. The seat belt cutter is heavy, sharp, and seems like it will stay in place for the duration. The only thing that is a bit worrying is the glass breaker. I can't tell if it's welded, molded, riveted, or screwed on, so I'll have to put the knife through it's paces to be sure it's going to stay in it's place. Overall, for the price it appears to be a good knife. As with all things, only time will tell.

Razor sharp
I’ve been using this for almost a year now and it’s my everyday carry with my firearm! I was able to get this razor blade sharp and feels good in my hand while using it and l have big hands too. Has the hook end for cutting seatbelts which is nice but once I got it razor sharp l don’t need that seatbelt cutting end.

Great knife, very sturdy!
Great knife. I wasn't thrilled with the customer support I received from Martial Arts Land, but that isn't relevant. I've been using this knife as my daily carrier, and use it anytime I need a knife, even for tasks as mundane as opening packages. It is very sturdy, and the constant use hasn't led to any screws becoming loose, a problem I had with both of the Tac-Force knives I've used. So far, I only have two issues, and one isn't necessarily with the knife. One, when it arrived, the blade already had a little dent in the cutting edge from it coming in contact with the piece that the glass breaking tip screws into. I'm not sure how that happened though, as when the blade is closed, it doesn't come into contact with that piece. But the dent lines up with where it would hit if it did, so there is no question that it happened at some point. Second, the glass breaker tip, as I just mentioned, screws into a metal piece in between the two halves of the handle. I'm not sure when it happened, but at some point it became completely unscrewed and I never found it, and I have no idea how long it was gone before I realized it was missing. I asked the vendor about a replacement, but it seems he didn't even read my message as he completely blew off the message and told me to contact Amazon since the item was marked as delivered. When I searched for a replacement, I found some replacements for Micro Tech knives, which appears to be different than MTech, since I didn't see any items that looked like this knife on their site. And those replacement tips cost $15-20, a considerable amount more than I paid for this knife, and much more than I would pay just for the tip. So, I'll probably just buy a new knife, but only if I can find someone besides Martial Arts Land that sells them.
