Coast LED Lenser V2 Tactical Flashlight
The Coast V2 LED Lenser flashlight is small, lightweight, rugged, reliable, and very bright. It is powered by 3-AAA Alkaline Batteries (included), and uses a tail-cone push button on-off switch. The intense white light put out by it's single LED is not focusable, but doesn't need to be. The Manufacuturer claims a beam range of 180 meters (approx 200 yards). This isn't much of a stretch, as at 100 feet you can read street signs and house numbers, and under 10 feet it is so blinding it could be used as a defensive weapon! For the money (under $50 most places), it is the best flashlight available.

Failed Flashlight
I ordered four of these high performance flashlights, and one of them failed when new. Or should I say failed to operate properly. When the on/off switch was pressed the light would come on only momentarily then go out and stay out. Amazon is sending me a replacement. Thanks, Andy

Good but overpriced
A good quality flashlight but overpriced. A saw a similar one at a farm & home store for only $5. Not as heavy duty as this one but only $5. This light should be priced around $20.

Personal Best: One of the things that is MINE
Flashlights come and go. Usually they go not too long after they arrive. They get misplaced, they fall apart, they don't work when you need one, etc. This one is a Keeper. I bought this second one as a special gift for a loved one because its that good. Mine is still going strong like new after about six years. It is the perfect fit for a cel phone jeans pocket, it is BRIGHT like nothing you have ever seen, batteries last a surprizingly long time, and it puts all competitors to shame in any comparison. You'll need to get one for yourself to really understand how great this little jewel is.

Led Lenser LL7736
I had previously bought one of these flashlights at Home Depot and was very satisfied with my purchase. When I went back 2 1/2 months later to buy another one they no longer have them. I went to 3 different Home Depots and a Lowe's and could not find it. I bought this one off this page on Amazon from Knife Of The World.I have to say I was rather disappointed.I guess the LL in LL7736 model means low light because the one I had bought from Home Depot had a much stonger focused light. This one is weak compared to my original one. Everything else was the same just actual light was weak not strong at all. And the light was kind of blueish like another reviewer said.

Plenty bright with decent throw for an LED.
This light has a lot of good qualities. The anodized aluminum casing is solid and the endcap houses the switch. It conludes full-on and momentary mode and it's pretty hard to accidentally leave it on. The LED is quite bright and runs well on the 3 AAA batteries. I like that it uses easily replaceable batts for emergencies. The triple As fit into a plastic insert and this is about the only thing that worries me about it's construction. The LED itself sits behind a thick clear plastic "lens" that helps with the light dispersment. Seems to run for quite a long time on the batteries while maintaining it's brightness. It has a decent throw, at 40' it's very useful and it's still okay at 60-70'.All in all, quite solidly built and I've had no problems. It's a bit pricey, but seems to be of good quality. The o-ring on the back cap was broken, so had to be replaced, but I guess I can live with that. Mine came with a decent nylon sheath (better than most flashlight sheathes I've had), though I don't know if the model on Amazon has it included.

Solid 5 Star!
I've had this model for about two years now I use it every day and as a maintenance man this is a must. The frame is tough and the on/off button still works as good as it did when first bought. The light is a very bright clean white color.Today, I'm buying a second V2 LED Lenser Flashlight for my maintenance work buddy who just turned 50 years young. I know he'll appreciate it and use it.BTW the Velcro on the sheath will loss it's stickiness after a lot of use and Amazon sells the replacement here Coast LED Lenser 2003 5-Inch Deep Nylon Flashlight Sheath with Foldover Closure also, you'll save a ton of money using rechargeable AAA batteries.I can 100% recommend this great flashlight. ;)

Coast V2 LED Lenser
I have gone through dozens of various flashlight over many years. Some were cheap and some were expensive. The V2 LED lenser is by far the best flashlight I have ever owned. It is extremely durable and dependable. I have dropped this light countless times, (several times from a 12 foot ladder). It continues to function. The light is bright and the batteries last a long time. The only "fault" I found is that it has no flat sides to to keep it from rolling away on an uneven surface.
