Pac-Kit First Aid Only 6088 165 Piece #50 ANSI First Aid Kit, Weatherproof Plastic Case

I got this first aid kit for the coming zombie hurricane typhoon tsunami event that may hit here in the sunny Midwest. I do have to say that there is a lot of good things in this kit that will come in handy for “oh no what did I do” moments.I would like to say that if you are looking for the surgeon kit including bone saw then this kit may not be the one that you are looking for. But cheer up this is Amazon there is probably a category for surgeon tools (as well as the how to book as well).

Overall, this first aid kit has everything that a garage first aid kit can use. I found the bandaids to be a little worse than others for staying on a wound, but these were easily replaced with ones of higher quality. While you're replacing the band aids, pick up a $1 set of tweezers. The ones in this kit wouldn't extract a pencil let alone a sliver.

This first aid kit is rather impressive. The 50-person capacity it claims does seem reasonable, with a good variety of supplies and a few key tools. It comes in a pretty decent weather-resistant case (not totally water proof, but probably close). It can be wall-mounted or portable, which gives you some options. We mounted ours in our basement stairwell. It may seem like a bit of overkill for household use, but you never know when you'll need first aid supplies.There isn't much in here that would help serious injuries, but that is best left to the professionals anyways.

the supplies are outdated, they actually turn to dust, no helpful in a emergency!

the bandaids in this kit are terrible - they do not stick to anybodies skinsince that is the main reason for buying the kit it is a huge dissapointment.the only way to use them is to put on some of the medical tape to hold on the bandaid

Definitely a good amount of items in this kit. I'd take issue with the heat resistant claim. I keep mine at the playground in a drawer and it gets direct sunlight for a few hours a day- so no doubt it gets HOT. The bandages seem to have fused together with the paper covering and have lost some of their stickyness. Also some of the antibacterial wipes have dried out inside of their individual packages. This would be a great outdoor kit if you can keep it out of the heat OR use it as an indoor kit.

I was wanting to mount it on the wall but this kit definitely should not be wall mounted. All of the contents will fall out. However, most everything is easy to find and it is a great starter kit that meets OSHA requirements for inspections.

Purchased this for my husband's boat. He was thrilled to get it on Christmas (which was a bit of a surprise). He rarely offers compliments and said it had a lot of ideal items for first aid on the boat.
