Thicker than most bars
Nice bar, light weight, thicker than I expected so it fits my hands well, texture is adequate and not sharp. Perfect addition for my cable machine.

Exactly what I needed for my home gym
Its a plain steel bar with a mild knurling. Every cable bar I have with rubber grips ends up coming loose and spinning freely, messing up my grip positions, or sliding horizontally along the bar. Simplicity at its finest. Does appear to be hollow, but that doesn't really matter for a cable attachment.

Aluminum and thicker than expected but still nice
Bought this based on picture and was expecting a steel, relatively thin bar with knurling. However this bar is actually aluminum (lightweight) and definitely larger in diameter than your standard steel EZ curl bars. It grips well and it not to rough on the skin. Pleasantly surprised with it luckily.

Good bar
I have a Body Solid home gym, for which I got this bar, in my garage. I like this bar better than the original equipment. It has different angles to grip and rotates in the middle, so it is more versatile in its applications. It is well made and sturdy.
