Solar Deck Lights Outdoor, 16 Pack Step LED Waterproof Patio Decor Lights for Railing, Stairs, Fence, Post, Yard and Driveway, Warm White

We have a lot of decks and stairs that could do with lighting. Having dealt with solar-powered specialty lights before, I ordered these to try them out. I don't have a lot of good experiences with them, but the price was right, and I decided to give it a shot. And I can say I am happily surprised. The lights were much brighter than expected and lasted much longer. Of course, depending on the exposure to sunlight, the light might last longer and burn brighter - but overall, they beat my expectation. The installation on a wooden deck went fast and without issues. A cautionary note: if you plan to put these lights on stairs - keep in mind that the lights will show a height of about a quarter inch. This does mean a higher chance of tripping over. I did not install them on stairs, but I understand that they might cause a trip hazard if you do. That comes with a side note, though; in winter, the lights are far, far less bright - logically. And they burn shorter than in the summer. But we need them for the summer, during which they perform nicely. It also needs to be stated that - since these are solar-powered lights, having them installed where the lights get enough exposure to the sun is mandatory.

At a total cost including taxes of $1.52 each, these are amazing. They arrived several days ago, and I put a few out for the afternoon on a cloudy day, and that night they were on all night long - which is impressive. The next day I put several on a table on the deck (not mounted, just laying there), so they could charge. The wind blew one off the table and into my koi pond, and that night I found it on, underwater! So I took it out and will use that one by my house number sign by the road. So far I've put out 8 of the 16, all work, all stay lit all night, and the light they put off is pretty good for such a small and inexpensive light. To light the end of my dock properly, I put three of them the end of my dock on a cross mounted on the dock - and they light up the dock well for looks and for seeing while walking on the dock in the dark. No idea how long they will last, but so far these far exceed my expectation. My past expiriences with other solar lights was not so great. Summary: Very inexpensive, work well, love the fact you can stick them on or screw them on, and good light where there's no electricity.

I'm a repeat customer because I needed to order more to compensate for their inconsistent "behavior". When they are bright, they really make my porch/stairs look really pretty, but sometimes they just don't work. Sometimes they are great on a Monday but then on Tuesday they don't work at all. Then on Wednesday night, they may be low but at 5AM there's still some light coming from them. Their size is ideal, however, I would not put them on the base of stairs, as even on the ends, someone could accidentally hit it with their toe/heel. I absolutely have no complaints with this product because it really does provide the lighting I'm looking for but due to the inconsistency of the lights, I can't give it five stars. Note that I did not place any of these where there's not at least 5/6 hours of sunlight but even when it's overcast, there tends to be some charge that night.

My lights just came on from my upper deck on my house. They are perfect and don't glare so bright you can look right at them. So easy to install and they were fully charged and all came on within 10 minutes of each other. What a bargain. I am thrilled to death. I just want to add one more thing. Two of mine went out and I threw them away. Don't do that. I just ordered replaceable batteries on Amazon and put one in the third one that went out and it's working fine. Wished I would not have tossed the other two because a 12 pack of batteries are really cheap so you can have your lights for a long time. Live and learn. Need to add one more thing. In two months 6 of my lights have flamed out. I did buy the batteries and the light came back on but won't shut off so if they give out best to buy more but it gets expenisve to replace every 2 months. They just flame out fast and even a new battery won't stop the malfunction. I am ordering some replacements because I love the look but might have to order better quality in the future. These were cheap and fun at first until they started sparking out.

These lights worked great when I bought them 2 years ago. Today most of them no longer will light up. I'll be looking for a replacement that will get me more life out of the lights.

Durability light looks great on my balcony

First of all the price is awesome since u get 16 of these solar lights, they come charged n ready to use. They are so easy to install anywhere u would like to or need some nice backyard ambience. They give off a soft yellowish light n just changes the look of any area in your landscaping. U can place them on your fence, deck, railings, steps n are very easy n quick to install. Place them in direct sunlight so u get a better charge n therefore will last longer during the night. They are water proof, n hold up to the cold months of winter. I know because this is my second time buying them, so i know they are a great product n you will have nice lighting at a very inexpensive price n a product of good quality. U will not regret buying them n you might even buy more . I usually dont write reviews but this product qualified for the review.

I purchased these lights to put around the deck railing. They were easy to install; the light lasts well in to the early morning/late night hours. We do have full sun on the deck so charging hasn't been an issue, even in New England winters they light up at night. I bought them because I wanted light on the deck but did not want to attract the bugs, it has worked perfectly for this. Pleasantly bright without a light glaring in your eyes while outside. My only complaint is that after less than a year a couple have stopped working. To be fair most solar applications don't last much past a year in NewEngland with the climate of wet and cold half the time. Overall happy with them

Wonderful products. After fixing there was heavy rain. I though lights will not work. But on the next day after getting charge the whole day, all lights are working. I am so happy.
