Really wanted an SLR, but didn't want something that would be so obscenely large that I couldn't carry it around. I also didn't want to blow four digit$ on buying a camera that was more than I needed. I am, and will likely always be an amateur photographer. This one is a good deal, and since I was upgrading from a standard point and shoot it is like night and day. Just using the auto mode and taking quick shots this thing has done soooo well. I have never taken such good pictures. For photo quatliy - superb. For size - it's good, but would be better with one of the pancake lenses. The kit lenses were good. Battery life is great. This one came directly from Japan, but the shipping was fast.Really happy with the purchase. Definitely would recommend it to anyone.

Amazing condition
I was afraid this item was going to be in questionable condition. When you do an online search for these older models you find items with conditions that run the spectrum. I had concerns and excited. To my surprise the Camara body and both the lenses are in excellent condition. A small part of me was confident that ordering from here was safer and had items in better conditions than other. I'm glad I did. With that out of the way, let's review the product. It is in almost mint condition. If it was refurbished it was done with factory standards. I didn't find a scratch, ding, scuff, or malfunction on either the body or lenses. I did notice a very small defect. It doesn't even bother and I'm pretty oCD. But, there is one dead pixel. It is just glowing red, but that's ok in my opinion. It doesn't affect any of the functions or clarity of the screen. I score it as 1% of 100.This camera is insanely good. For a camera that was issued about 10yrs ago it still packs a big punch. It has all the right setting and adjustments as the bigger cameras. I don't have a big gripe over 16mp. I just need to be able to get nice pix of my kids when they are running around and have family portraits on occasion. I'm not a pro just a person looking to transition and learn the finer things in life. LolThe body color is also a standout feature. White is so clean and aestheticly pleasing. I'm thinking of ordering the e-Pm2 for an even more compact carry.

Solid, compact, great value.
I absolutely love this camera. I bought it for a required photography course, as I needed full manual controls but didn't want a huge DSLR. After a lot of research, I decided on this model with the 14-42mm and 40-150mm lenses. I love that it comes in white, is compact, and has a nice weight to it, without being too heavy. The camera is very solidly built. I have no fear of damaging the flip out LCD. I did think that I had snapped off the battery cover once but it snapped right back in. I do wish that Olympus would provide a developer api for remote control from Lightroom or provide their own application for remote viewing and control from a Mac or PC though this would not be a deal breaker for most people using this camera. My only other complaint is that the little plastic cover for the hot shoe/ap2 port falls off easily and I finally lost it after about 10 months, after a weekend of heavy partying and taking photos.

Great little Camera for anyone who doesn't want to carry around a DSLR
So far so good, nice little camera. I got compliments for others for the unique color combination of the camera body/lens. I only had it for a month I haven't played around with the setting yet, mostly I have been taking stills in auto mode and I am impressed with the speed. Also I prefer this to carry around over my canon T3i because it's very compact, even though I got this for video only.

Best bang for the buck
After doing much research on affordable micro four thirds cameras, I was thinking of purchasing the Sony NEX-5T. As an amateur photographer I was considering the NEX-5T over the Olympus EPL-6 because of the larger sensor and its focus peaking feature. When I first started researching I found the Olympus EPL-5 and for about $50-75 less depending on the website when compared to the NEX-5T I thought it might be the better deal. I would miss out on focus peaking and a larger sensor, but I would have similar performance and a greater selection of lenses - something that I am interested in.Eventually I decided against the EPL-5/6 because the Sony seemed to have a better package out of the box. I felt that the Sony would be worth it until I discovered this EPL-6 combo. For about $80 more than the stock EPL-6 (and $30 more than the NEX-5T) I got a flash and 2 lenses at a much better price than an equivalent combo that Sony offers for its NEX-5T.Now these are obviously not the best, most professional lenses, but as an amateur I feel that I got away with an amazing deal. I have been truly enjoying this camera as well as each of the lens. I will be uploading some pictures. I have only been shooting in RAW in several of the manual control modes. It has been a blast.
