Q: How to clean these pair of straps and also how to make it last longer? How to care and condition the leather on these straps?

WORST mistake is put these in with your other cloths during a wash. You will have a very big (and depending on how much your other cloths cost) a BIG and expensive surprise. Basically it is unsealed dyed leather. So if you wash them they bleed...and bleed and bleed... its the hemophiliac of weight straps. If you have to wash them, I've done them in a sink with some powdered detergent and a scrub brush and then rinse and let them out to dry. Don't worry if you see a lot of red... just get the soap off. It's probably not a good idea to rinse until you think it will go clear and stop bleeding. Again, just the soap and paper towel dry and set it on something you don't mind getting stained red.

Q: Is this real leather, or synthetic?

It is durahide real leather. I love these straps! The leather works great when wrapping the straps around bars. I use these often for dead lifts. They do not slip like my old black ridged straps that would cut into my skin and take some skin off.
