Is this $18 for one 25.6oz can of french roast? that's almost 3 times the price of w.mart, that's insane!

This is regarding the Half-Caff product: My last order was $7.42 for this size canister - now it's at $22.00 - TOTALLY INSANE!! We actually found it at our local supermarket for $8.00. I hope Amazon realizes this. Also, the other types of Maxwell House are all under $8.00 each but for some reason the Half-Caff is priced way too high. I think they are taking advantage of those people that cannot get out to do the grocery store and need to purchase on the internet.

House blend and original roast... anyone know the difference or have a preference? more specific- what is the house blend? they both are med roast.

They're both really good, smooth coffees. I like mine with sugar, am out of the house blend so I can't try it with creamer but have recently tried original roast with creamer just for a change of pace and it's yummy. The house blend, if I can put it into words, has a bit more going on with the flavor, a bit more akin to the McCafe medium roast if you've ever had that. Original roast, while good to me and I have no problem drinking, is so smooth it doesn't have as much "bold" coffee flavor, which isn't necessarily a bad thing at all. Heck, it can even be preferred. They're both cheap enough to try them both out and see which you like better :) can't go wrong with either in my opinion

What does "100% pure coffee" mean? I guess when manufacturers write this on a package it means it's 100% robusta, especially considering the price.

Pure coffee means no dyes no chemicals and the beans are grow in soil that is chemical free and water is pure in a climate that is good for coffee beans. Hope this helps

Which is it, mild or medium? Up top it states mild but in description it says medium!

i would call it medium with a rich flavor, nice.

Great flavor, size, and price.

Bought the 8oz Jar of Maxwell House Original Roast Instant Coffee. This probably is one of the best instant coffees I've had. I bought a 12oz tumbler cup, and this instructs to use one teaspoon for 6oz, so I use two teaspoons. I'm hurting for money at the moment so this is coming in real clutch, as it tastes absolutely fine without cream and without sugar, flavor is great - I'm honestly pleasantly surprised, I wasn't expecting the flavor to be quite as good for how low the price is. I'll probably resort to this in the future as it's quite convenient. The only thing I can mark as a con is that the little label thing that wraps around the outside of it kind of unstuck itself, so one side pops off rather easily. This doesn't really do anything and doesn't hurt the contents of the product, so I'm not going to deduct a star for this. Either way, I'm quite happy with this purchase.

Really great product at a really great price

It seems strange that something like instant coffee and at such an affordable price could do the job so well and taste so good. My husband refuses to drink anything else in the morning even turning down mainstream coffee company drinks for this. Really great product, we buy for our home and office and have for years

I’ve always love to drink instant coffee and take a little break from brewed coffee.. This Maxwell House Instant,, ALWAYS my favorite! It’s always fresh after opening the sealed jar..
