This is an excellent G-Shock! Comfortable to wear and stylish to look at. I wanted a non digital display g-shock and this fitted the bill for looks and price. It is easy to read - unlike some of the other faces where you cannot see the hands. Also the light is good for nighttime. Overall this is an excellent G-Shock and good value for money.

Nice watch

Great looking watch. Good price. Programming is like a very bad dream. On a trip out of the country I tried to change the time to the local time. A nightmare. When a came home I ended up calling a Casio help #. A very kind man in the Philippines spent a half hour helping me. He said that if I needed to alter the time in the future I should call the help line. I printed the full owner's manual and it did not help. Great watch. Awful programming. Not looking forward to the end of daylight saving time. Glad I did not hit with a large mallet. Thought about it.

So named for its resemblance, due to its octagonal bezel, to the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, an all-metal luxury sports watch that was introduced in the early 70’s. Fortunately, the Casio doesn’t resemble the AP in terms of price!! The G Shock is made mostly of resin, some of which is reinforced with carbon fiber. This model comes in several colors, and the version I bought, black with white hands and hour markers, is one of the most legible, in my opinion. It’s a very light, comfortable watch to wear and looks great. I don’t have a problem with the negative digital displays, because the backlight illuminates them well. Just one minor complaint—they are a bit small. Other than that, a good job by G Shock.

Good solid watch for the money, bought for my son as his first watch and I wanted it to be an analog design that he could basically set and forget
