Keyless 1/32"- 5/8" Drill Chuck With MT3 (Morse Taper #3 NOT MT2) Arbor (Z LIVE CENTER Brand)

It has turned a cheap Chinese drill press into a precision drilling machine. I am thrilled with the product. My one issue is that during the drilling process it tends to continue tightening and when done sometimes requires a vise grip to loosen. It's a beautiful chuck and I am very concerned about marring the knurling. Other than that I think you will be very pleased.

not much to write except it is well built look like good heavy steel and fits right as it shouldover all good value for money!!!

It's missing the collar you hold onto to give you leverage that you need to make the keyless chuck tight. So I bought this one instead. I'm impressed. It also grabs hard. I have not had any issue with slipping bits yet. This chuck is a shocking value for the money. The runout is not visible. I have not measured it, but it's better than any other chuck I have. I did an experiment to see what I could chuck, and I took a photo of the chuck holding a hair, I even gave it a tug to to show you it's grabbing.. That's amazing... especially at this price point. Delivered fast. Item jammed up on second use. Contacted seller. New one arrived next day. Has worked perfectly every day since.

Very nice. Little to no run out. Mechanism is a little stiff like it has heavy lube oil/grease in it.

When I received the chuck the Morse taper adapter didn't fit the chuck. It was too small. The other end fit my tailstock fine. I contacted the seller and they said to return it for a refund. I just wanted the correct adapter sent not a refund. [Afraid they'd send me the same thing again] So I machined the part myself and everything works fine now.

Very little runout. I use it primarily on wood. It turned my cheap Grizzly drill press into an accurate machine. Grips well. It can handle a 7/8" Forstner bit into hardwood end grain without slipping. I have no problems with hand tightening or release.

Very nice piece for the cost. Be sure to clean up well before install or use.
