Harder material that original
This is a harder material that original, which I believe will be better for my purpose. I was putting it on a DW421. Fit was no problem at all. T20 screws on mine. Took longer to get the driver that to change and be running !

Worked Fine on my Dewalt
This worked fine on my Dewalt 5-inch sander. Was easy to install and grips the sandpaper sufficiently. Hopefully, it will last as long as the original.

Not a good replacement for model 421
I returned the product because the holes for the mounting screws were too small. This is not a replacement for a black and decker model 421 also seem to be cheaply made, the mounting base was plastic and not metal like some.
