Great movie! Wonderful interaction between actors, great plot

All round great action movie

Realistic? Probably not. But who cares? It's definitely entertaining. Christian Slater trying to stop Travolta from wiping Denver off the map with a stolen nuke. Howie Long plays his henchman. Great with pizza.

Docked one star for the DVD version not being redone for 16x9 TV's. It's still got the old school theatrical ratio which was fine years ago, but not for all the huge screen TV's out now. The DVD is fine for some TV's and not others. I have a TV with a 32" screen and the DVD fills the screen pretty well. My girlfriend has a TV with a huge screen and the DVD picture makes you think you're watching a "little bitty" picture in the middle of the screen. It was unwatchable as far as I'm concerned. The Blu Ray, on the other hand, fills both screens just fine. It's still in letterbox format even on my girlfriend's huge screen, but it fills nearly all of the screen and is just the right size to be able to watch and enjoy the movie. So, buyer beware if you opt for the DVD instead of the Blu Ray and you own a big screen TV. Other than that there's no need for me to review the movie. It's full of action and cliffhanger scenes, just don't watch it too critically. I consider it for all intents and purposes to be a Saturday-afternoon western with a modern setting and situations. It's one of my favorite movies of all time, so I'm very biased as to how good it is! Yes, there are some plot errors in the movie, but if you just watch it for the action and adventure, it has several breathtaking scenes.

Great movie. Great DVD. The 90's were a great time.

Good watch

Let's face it, for the most part, this movie is highly unbelievable. I don't know too many park rangers with the gall to arrest a captain of the Air Force. If we see red flames spewing from an atomic detenation, mostly likely there's some radiation involved. You would think that someone in Deakin's position would have been through so many psyche screenings someone would have known he's not intirely stable. But if you can get past all that, Broken Arrow can be rather entertaining. Travolta plays the sociopathic Deakin's very cooly. His acting in this is nothing less than fantastic. Though I must say that some of the other acting was rather dry to say the least. Mr. Prichett in particular was just plain irratating. On the positive side, there is a catching story line (upright captain has to fight his best friend in order to keep him from setting off a nuclear bomb). The action is good. As I said, Travolta's acting is great; practically carries the film. The final word, I really enjoyed it, but can easilly see why most others wouldn't. I'd suggest renting it. You never know, you may like it and choose to by it.

ロードショーに2度行って、VHSも何度も見ていたけれど、うっかりDVDを持っていないことに気づいたので購入しました♪ 何回見ても何十回見ても、やっぱり一番好きな洋画です。 アクションものにほぼ必ず付く、ベタベタな恋愛感情が排除されている点。 最後の最後に名乗り合うシーン。 完璧です！

I could happily watch this film over and over again John Travolta makes an excellent baddie l would recommend this film.
