Folding Slant Board for Writing - Large (18"W x 12"H)

A perfect and inexpensive way to provide a slant board for a child doing OT online. The clips could be a little more stable, but they work!

Cheap plastic and flimsy. I have a more expensive slant board for my kids and didn't want to spend again on another. This was a few dollars cheaper - but it is so much more flimsy. The little white tapes are barely glued on and came off immediately. Again, I should have returned, but I think I missed the window. Complete waste of money and the person who put this out there should be ashamed to be selling this for more than $5.

The writing board is poorly made. For it to work, it relies on Velcro strips. These strips are not attached well to the board itself, they are simply stuck on it using adhesive. Once the Velcro strips fall off the smooth board surface, the board becomes unusable. In addition, the material the board is made of is cheap and crudely cut. The contraption has a cheap and unfinished look.

This is not sturdy enough for a 3rd grader you use in a school. The Velcro on the base piece pulls off so you can’t attach the back piece to create the wedge shape required to make the board slant.

Rubber feet already fell off.

An occupational therapist suggested that we get a slant board for our daughter. This one works well for her and seems to help with her posture when she is writing. We bought one of each size. This larger one we got for home. It works well and is mostly well made and sturdy. The slant is a good angle. The clips at top hold paper steady. For copybooks and workbooks, it stays mostly still while resting book on it.The one nagative thing I can say is that the two rubber feet come off easily. They don't stick well at all. However, I don't think they are really necessary, as the slant board doesn't move around without them. When we bought the second one I deliberately took them off so they wouldn't fall off as a safety hazard for our dog.UPDATE (12/4/2021):After about a week of using it, one of the velcro strips that keep it shaped for use came off. And this was without opening and closing it as this one is just used at home and kept set up. I was able to stick it back on easy enough. But the adhesive on the velcro doesn't work well. If you were opening and closing the slant board repeatedly, the velcro will definitely come off.

This thing is made from super flimsy plastic corrugated cardboard material that you find in the cheap plastic yard signs. It buckles and bows under the slightest pressure from my 9 year old kid writing. Should be a 10 pack for the price they are selling it for. But even then it is basically useless because it is so flimsy. Total waste of money and literally couldn't be made of a cheaper material less suited for its intended task. Take your business elsewhere. Will not work as a slant board for kids at all!!!

Do not buy this product! Such a piece of junk and extremely low quality. There are grooves all along the surface so writing is not smooth. Piece of crap for the amount of money I paid
