This additional blade fits well and works as intended.

Works ok like the original. For the price I probably should have just replaced the trimmer.

I have an older version of this trimmer (Panasonic ER-GN30) from 2014. The trimmer has served me well for many years, but it seemed like it was really struggling lately. Even with fresh batteries it sounded like the trimmer was low on batteries and the RPMs were slow. It still cut hair, but it seemed like this trimmer's days were numbered. A new trimmer of the same model was only $20, but the recent reviews seemed to indicate that the build quality of the newer trimmers did not match the older ones, and they were failing quickly after only moderate use.This replacement blade was $12, so you would think it would be more sensible to just pay $20 for a new trimmer altogether. However after reading all the negative reviews on the new trimmers, I decided to take a chance and buy a new blade instead, keeping my trimmer out of the landfill and hopefully avoid any issues with the newer models.I put the new blade on the trimmer and it was like having a brand new trimmer. Instead of being sluggish, slow, and loud, the new blade spun at high RPM and was very quiet. It definitely fixed the problems I was having with the old blade and now the trimmer works like new. Hopefully it lasts as long as the original blade.

Metal housing is great, although it does get a little warm. Tried this on a model ER115. Works if you break the tabs off of the cutter.

I have been using the original head for years but dropping it ruined it. This replacement head has now given me more years of faithful service.

I didn't want to send my trusty ERGN30 trimmer to the landfill, even though it was showing it's age and hardly worked. It would always get stuck and stop spinning and it made a grinding sound. Lots of the replacement blades sold here are more expensive than a new trimmer, and I couldn't quite stomach that. This one is cheaper then a new trimmer (but not by much), so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm happy that I did. This is a real Panasonic part from Japan and it's made my trimmer work like new. Instead of the grinding sound the trimmer makes a nice hum. It trims efficiently without getting stuck, even with the same old battery as before. So sad that simple fixes like this are discouraged by the manufacturers. They just want you to buy a new trimmer when all it needs is a tiny new blade.
