THIS CLOCK IS AMAZING. SUPER EASY SET UP, LIGHTWEIGHT AND AMAZING CHIMES. THIS CLOCK RUNS THROUGH A VARIETY OF SONGS/CHIMES ON THE HOUR. THIS IS A DOCTOR FEEL GOOD CLOCK BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT DOES, IT JUST MAKES ME FEEL GOOD. I HAVE IT IN A 14' X 14' OFFICE IN MY HOME AND IT'S PERFECT. IT CAME PACKAGED EXTREMELY WELL. I LOVE THIS CLOCK!!!MY ONLY GRIPE AND IT'S MINOR, IS THE PIECE OF PLASTIC THEY PUT IN THE BACK OF THE CLOCK TO STOP THE PENDULUM FROM GETTING DAMAGED IN SHIPPING HAD SLIPPED OUT AND WAS IN THE BASE OF THE CLOCK. I USED A LONG PAIR OF THIN TWEEZERS AND A LITTLE SHAKING TO GET IT OUT. THIS WOULD NOT STOP BE FROM BUYING THIS AGAIN. AS A MATTER OF FACT, I'M THINKING OF GETTING ANOTHER.

Love my clock! one of the best clocks I've owned.The chime is soft keeps accurate time it's a very quiet clock, you don't even know hanging on the wall. I don't have to strain to look at the time it's very easy to read. What a great value for the money!!

For a plastic clock, this one looks like a wooden one. It has kept time well and we've had no problems with it. It chimes a different tune every hour. Of course, you can always turn the music off. The volume of the music is also adjustable. There is a light sensor under the number 6 that turns the music off at nighttime. It simply detects a dark room and will not play the hourly music. The only reason I knocked off one star was because the clock DOES NOT chime on the hour. It only plays music. Had I known this prior to ordering, I probably would not have ordered. It is however, a nice clock.

This is a lovely clock. It keeps time accurately and I love the melody it plays each hour. The volume is adjustable and we have it set to play at a gentle, soothing level. There is no audible “tick” sound and the songs mute at dark. It looks much more expensive than it was, and I’m very happy with this purchase.

I had written a review in reply to someone interested in this clock but did not want the chiming melodies. I wanted to add that the clock has a switch on the back to turn off the music and also is light sensitive so that if the room is dark, it doesn't chime. I personally love the chiming melodies and that is one reason I bought this clock. It is also very pretty. Mine is over my mantel and I love it.

Sleek design, much better than I expected for the price. Also love the volume and the variety of the jingles. Granted you can adjust the volume but even at max volume it seems just right - not too loud or too soft. Very basic and easy to set up.

When I received this clock I was excited. But I then noticed the box was previously opened and retapped. I opened the box and the batteries were in a snack size ziplock bag, batteries looked used, the foam stopper for the pendulum was missing, and the wall bracket wasn’t in the package. Hopefully the replacement clock will include everything and the box will be unopened.Update: I did receive the replacement clock and it was in worse shape than the 1st clock. It even had the return slip from the previous owner in the box. It also had the AA battery stuck in the clock. This is the worst product I have ever brought on Amazon. Sending both clocks back and will never order this again. I guess you get what you pay for.

It is a clock and it chimes and has big letters so it is easy to read. However, the hourly chime music is a bit childish. I bought this for my mother-in-law to replace a similar, better-built clock, that despite being fixed had quit. She commented that some of the songs she hadn't heard since she was little. Maybe they picked them because they are public domain and didn't have to pay licensing.
