This are big hard candies with a tangy-sweet beginning and custardy smooth finish. Really unusual and delicious. Good value for the price, because each piece lasts a long time.

Wow! As a stateside rhubarb lover, these are a fantastic find! They’re not too sweet and have a balanced flavor between the rhubarb and custard. I’ve come back for more than one bag!

These rhubarb and custard Bondi sweets are surprisingly tasty—sweet, but not overly so, with that nice balance of tangy rhubarb and creamy custard flavor. They’ve got that classic British candy vibe that makes you feel like you should be sitting on a park bench with a newspaper. That said, they’re a bit sticky on the teeth, so unless you’re looking to test your dental work, I’d definitely recommend sucking on them instead of chewing. Overall, they’re a solid little treat—just approach with caution if you’ve got fillings you’d like to keep. Would give them a five if they weren’t so sticky on the teeth.

Taste is reminiscent of berries & cream, or more specifically berries in yogurt, like a raspberry yogurt. The candies themselves were bigger than I expected them to be, which is nice because then they last a while. Super delicious!

When it says "boiled sweet" I think it's going to be a soft candy. Not so, this is a very hard candy and they should state that in their product description. The bag is tiny compared to what you pay, and there should be some indication of size in the product photos, like with a ruler or in someone's non-photoshopped hand. The flavor is really good, but I don't think I'll be purchasing again since I wanted a soft candy.

I ordered two bags of these candies last week and just ordered three more. They are expensive but are my new addiction. They have a fine sugar coating and the candy itself has a wonderful flavor. If you get one with lots of rhubarb flavor it’s a special treat. Will definitely be ordering these again.These are hard candies so if you are looking for something chewy or soft these aren’t for you. They are really really delicious though.UPDATE: I’ve changed my review from a 5 to 1. I’ve ordered these twice in the past and they were delicious. I just received my 3rd order and they taste horrible. Nothing like the two previous orders. They don’t look the same either. I’m not fond of the taste and wouldn’t order them again due to the inconsistency in the shape and taste. What happened??

I'll admit, the pairing of rhubarb and custard struck this Texan's mind as an extremely odd mixup. In fact, it was just odd enough to be irresistible, forcing me to want to try it. Boy, am I glad I did! The first sweet I ate hit me in two phases: first, I got the mellow sweetness of the custard. Then, the lovely tartness of the rhubarb faded in. What a delightful sensation! Subsequent tastings didn't have the same two phase experience, as both flavors came on at once. Still, I enjoyed the sweet almost at the same level. I let my wife and my son try some, and while neither of them got the two phase experience I got at first, both really liked them. Verdict: very good, bordering on spectacular, would definitely buy again.

I wasn't expecting these to be hard candies (didn't realize that's what "boiled sweets" were), but they're delicious. The rhubarb flavor could be stronger and a little more tart, but the custard flavor is perfect and overall they're really good! I ended up going through the bag and breaking the candies in half since a single piece is rather a mouthful. Rhubarb flavored things seem to be a rarity in the States so it was interesting to find a rhubarb flavored candy!
