These are great little filters for the Comsmart pet water fountain and I appreciate being able to easily order them from Amazon. However, even though the directions on the box indicate to change every 30 days, I find changing them every few weeks is more appropriate. If you look at them closely (on the bottom) you’ll see algae and mold growth will start to grow inside the filter. This isn’t a fault of the manufacturer it’s just a hazard that comes with a filtration device that is in contact with bacteria from pet saliva, room temperatures and recycled water. It fits the fountain perfectly, it is pretty durable given the conditions it’s in and it works great to filter the water. This does not replace the need for clean drinking water for pets. This is something to use in addition to that with many of the pet fountains on Amazon. This one specifically fits the Comsmart fountain, but I’m sure there are others it may also work with - your fountain will come with a filter and indicate when to change it and which will work to replace it.

The whole water bubbler with filters is great. It has a built in light. But this review should only be about the filters as that’s the picture being shown. Plus I did a review of the full product before. These are much better filters and worth the cost. I have gotten cheaper versions and my dogs seem to be able to tell the difference. I also can see the difference in the capturing of the food crumbs, dirt, and other things that my dogs might get on their chins and mouths -then they drink the water and it lands in the water bowls. I also highly highly recommend using a filtering water system if you have a white dog. White dogs get an orange color around their muzzles and any place they might lick on their bodies. If they drink filtered water this doesn’t happen. If your current white dog has any orange on them from licking, infection, or whatever-switch to a filtered watering system, or bottled water. Wait for the hair that’s discolored to grow out and once it does you will have a gleaming white dog better then ANY whitening products on the market. Better then Angle Eyes or others and thus is 100% safe for your pet. I promise if you try this method for a Westie, a Poodle, or any other dog or cat-it works. If you switch back to unfiltered water, then your pet will just go back to having orange around mouth, ears and any place else they lick.

Id say my cats health has improved since using filtered water. good functionality and good design. easy to clean. good durability and decent longevity. doesnt have bad water intake.

Got them for a dog fountain. The description suggested that would work for my fountain, but it was too small.. For the right size unit it seems like it would work fine.

It works well and I love it because it’s so much cheaper than the name brand filters. Just make sure you look at the size because some of them don’t fit all filters, they are not all a standard size. Just FYI.

The product was only a tiny bigger than my fountain but good enough, just stuff it in, somehow it'll work lol

Don’t waste your money. I’m now going to have to buy catit after buying this waste of money product.
