My third umbrella of this brand. I have two in my car and now one inside my house do use when we walk the dog. It folds up into a very reasonably sized small packet, but opens into a huge size for protecting you in the rain. It’s the best of both worlds and is high-quality.

I keep this in my car for rainy days. This is the first umbrella I purchased so far that has this unique upside down design. So far it is working well and helps me avoid getting water on myself when collapsing it. I like the color and it seems sturdy so far, but I haven't really put it through the paces yet.

I really love this umbrella! It's beautiful (I purchased the black with a thin reflective edge). I'd seen umbrellas before that close without dripping called "reverse close umbrellas, but they looked so bulky and (to me) unattractive. This umbrella is built well, looks attractive and it pops open with a nice strong pulse/jolt. The size is also nice - I and my purse, groceries, etc. fit nicely under it. I don't think it's quite big enough to accommodate two people however. The only thing I want to share is that it is VERY hard to push the umbrella down into the closed position. I've learned to find a wall or nearby hard surface to use help me close it. I've had for about 2 weeks and have only used a few times, so it's possible the mechanism may become easier to operate with time. I only mention it for people who have strength or mobility issues. Other than this one comment, I'm really happy with my purchase!

I needed an umbrella for the fall season, and this caught my eye. It is a great piece and did its job well. However, it is kind of sticky when opening it up and sometimes the umbrella wouldn't open up completely without nudging it

like that it closes in reverse so water stays inside the umbrella when closed. You can then shake it outside to get most of it out before bringing umbrella in. Makes you less wet when trying to get in and out of cars. Nice quality umbrella and large for 2 people. I like the auto close feature as it makes it very easy to put it away rather than trying to struggle to manually close it in normal umbrellas. Material seems good quality and sturdy enough to hold in Midwest winds.

well today was the first (and apparently last!) opportunity i had to try this umbrella since it was delivered. it rained with moderate winds. this umbrella does NOT hold up to wind well! couple that with the fact that the ribs are made of PLASTIC and you can imagine the results! at least one of the connectors of the ribs/ribs is now cracked. this is from ONE day's use!i bought 4 umbrellas for Christmas. three from another seller and this one for myself. had i known the ribs were plastic i would not have purchased this one, nice that it has a wood handle but thats not going to keep the rain off me when all the plastic ribs are broken!UPDATED REVIEW- I was contacted by the seller after my review. The seller sent me a replacement and I had the opportunity as luck had it to try it in hard rain and SEVERE wind yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised! This umbrella held up well. It opened without incident as I carried a bag in my other hand, it kept the rain off and beads the rain well, it closed without issue and kept the "wet" side away from me and my car seat. Most impressive though, was how it stood up to the heavy winds we had. I seriously thought it was going to invert or break but it did not. I will give the benefit of the doubt that the last one I received was just defective in and of itself and not a design error. Still like the wooden handle also! Given the seller's response and willingness to address the matter, and more importantly, given the performance of this replacement umbrella, I would buy from this seller again.

Purchased this awhile back and it still holds up fine. No leaks, folds and opens up as it should

I bought this umbrella for my son as a compact solution that would fit in his backpack. After it arrived and we tested it out a bit, I’m a little jealous because it’s nicer than the umbrellas that we currently use.I had my son open and close the umbrella a dozen or so times to test it out. The button extends the rod and expands the umbrella. If you click the button again, the umbrella collapses, but you still have to manually shorten the rod. I didn’t have any issues with this, but my middle school son needed some help as it takes some effort and he hadn’t quite got the technique down.Overall, this umbrella is lightweight, the fabric is thick with a nice sheen and texture to it. Build quality is solid.
