GDFStudio Aidan Mid-Century Modern Tufted Fabric Sofa, Light Blush and Dark Walnut

this is the first couch i’ve ever bought new rather than from a consignment shop. i shopped for months before settling on this couch. i can confirm it is indeed a firm couch. however i actually like the firmness. the back support is quite good. we added some soft pillows for decor to the couch and just move those around when extra softness is desired. the color is fantastic and looks just absolutely great in our house, especially with the wood coloration on the side details and feet. my roommate actually assembled the couch before i got home from work - he said it was incredibly easy to put together. it was also packaged with quite a lot of packing material - filled up our whole recycling bin for the week - and shipped fast and with 0 damage. we did not wind up using the extra gasket set included as we found the default setup of the couch to work perfectly for us. it is extremely lightweight and easy to clean - aside from the fabric color being fabulous, it seems to be a surprisingly good tight canvas-style weave. the price is truly unbeatable for the quality and size of the couch. couches and chairs at relative prices may have superior comfort and construction but you enjoy the benefit of this popular midcentury style with this piece at a fraction of a ‘true’ midcentury piece owing to the lesser quality materials that yet seem to be decently solid. we’ve had the couch for a few months now and experienced no issues and i hope that will continue to be the case.i feel that i should note that even though this couch works great for me and my roommate, i question whether it would serve well or hold up to the usage of heavier individuals. me and roommate both weigh under 160lbs each and can comfortably sit on the couch but i think if you have a bigger booty or wider frame you might be unhappy with it - no offense to your booty or nothin :)

Easy to assemble and cute but very small and not that comfortable for humans. My dogs on the other hand love it! Lol very expensive dog bed that is cute at least.

Easy to assemble, durable, looks like the photos, and good price. But it's not the most comfortable. It's not uncomfortable per say, but it's not the type of couch you plop down in after a long day.Which for us is fine, we knew when we bought it that it's the type of couch you buy for the look, not the comfort.So just know what you're buying. I would buy it again as it is what I expected.

A lot of the reviews mentioned that this was not a super plush, super comfy, fall-into-a-big-fluffy-pillow-at-the-end-of-the-day kind of couch. It’s true. But if you are looking for a sturdy, stylish piece of furniture, this couch is gorgeous. And frankly, it’s comfortable enough for me! I suppose a lot of people’s bodies are more sensitive and demanding than mine.

This couch had my eye the moment I saw it and picture was not deceiving at all, great quality and comfortable. Absolutely worth it.

I bought 2 to make a seating area in my living room. But after assembling one, I found out that it was extremely uncomfortable to lounge on. I gave the other one away.

It's absolutely gorgeous and looks just like pictures. It's also pretty great quality. I would marry this couch of it wasn't so uncomfortable. I've developed back and hip issues since buying this couch and now need to go see a specialist! Do not buy this couch unless you never plan on sitting on it. Like ever!
