HermleModern Clock with 8 Day Running time from

This was a gift for my husband. He was in the Navy and it's hard to find a clock that chimes the 8 bells, The one is beautifully made and chimes well. It stopped running at one point, after we were way for a few days and it didn't get wound. He reached out to Hermle and they helped him get it running again.

Definitely not a ship bell! It’s more like a silly bell sequence of dings. Ship bells are sequenced for an 8 hour watch. Looks authentic though.

My third attempt to purchase a Ships Clock paid off. Thanks Amazon,for fulfilling my wish to have clock that chimes the hours of a Watch on a ship"s bridge.Well Done!
