I operate an Air B and B and we have some pretty wide weather extremes and the lock box is great. Roller code and ease of use. Functions well, great value for the money and tough and sturdy. I mounted mine on the wall right next to the door lock for convenience.

Great way to secure your keys. Con At first the directions are hard to follow. At times the lock feels like is not closing right, but it works.

After slipping and falling in the shower on the first day of a week's long vacation I realized that living alone, if something happens to me at home where I am seriously injured or even die no one would "miss me" in a situation like this until I was scheduled to return to work. I wasn't seriously hurt this time when I slipped and fell, it did take me several minutes to get myself up and out of the tub. Had I needed assistance at that time and was able to get to my phone, someone would have to break in to assist me. With this now even if I have to have emergency service called to assist I can give them the code to get the key to open the locks instead of them having to break in through a window or door. This was easy to set up and install, I liked the fact that it's a keypad and the code can pretty much be anything and is easy to set and change with the included small tool. I gave the code to several friends and would even use this for someone house sitting for me to check on my dog and make sure everything is okay while I'm away.

Bought this Feb. 8, the key lock box broke March 7. It did not last one month on my gate. Fortunately I had removed the key and was just replacing the top part, when it clicked closed it made a noise. I tried to open it but the reset does not work and the buttons don't all click. So, now it's locked to my gate and to get a refund, that I have applied for, I'm supposed to return it. How am I going to get this off my gate, hire someone to cut it off? I'm stuck with a broken lock box and Amazon won't credit a refund. UPDATE: I had the lock cut off my gate and Amazon will issue a credit when I send the lock back or take it to Whole Foods drop off.

This is the second one I have purchased though I have since found the original one. Both are in fine working condition. The only limitation is that the code sequence has to be unique digits, or letters that match to those digits. You will understand what I mean if you get one. This was used by a real estate agent.

It's a great lockbox for a simple key! But I needed it for a car key which it absolutely is not made for! My mistake for not reading the description.. I thought It's a Masterlock so they would think about that, but I was wrong.. Either way It was my mistake and the product is great for what it's made for Which is why I still gave it a 5-star!
