Quite possibly the perfect tent for 2.
My wife and I have been camping for the last 13 years or so and we have never had an easier tent experience than with this Core instant dome tent. Initial set up (no stakes or guy lines) literally took one minute and that was us taking our time and making sure we weren't rushing anything. The tent is very intelligently designed. With the mesh shelf that attaches to the top of the dome, the two side pockets, a third mesh pocket by the back window, the two (closable) air vents, and the electrical cord entry, it has plenty of storage and capabilities, especially for a tent at this price point. I also appreciate the sturdy floor, and the functional rain fly. And aesthetically, I think the green/gray combo is great - as you can see it meshes in with our surroundings very well but is also very easy to see when walking around the campsite. We tested this in our "back yard" which is really just a clearing on the edge of a mountain in Colorado. We camp down there a lot and frequently get wind gusts in excess of 35mph. Last night we got those same wind gusts and the tent held firm, even without upgraded tent stakes. The guy lines were key in keeping it centered. Even after 8 straight hours of intense wind, the tent hadn't moved an inch or suffered any kind of stretching or ripping of the material. Granted it's still a new tent and we have many more nights ahead of us, but definitely a promising sign.We debated over tents for days before settling on this Core 4 person tent - considering major brands like Kelty and Marmot. In the end, the low price, the instant-up frame, overall weight/size, and features were just too good to pass up on this Core. Highly recommended for couples and other adventurous types who want a minimum of hassle getting camp set up.

Yes, it's that easy and still super functional
My wife and I are avid campers and enjoy car, backpack, and 4-season camping. We bought this tent to replace an old 4-person tent we use for car-camping and several of our friends recommended some derivative of an instant tent (of which there are several varieties now). I did a lot of research and bought the CORE for a couple reasons: less expensive than many instant tents out there, lighter than many of the other tents, different than the tents our friends currently own. I highly recommend this tent.Pros: It took me ten seconds to put up. 90 seconds if you include throwing the rain fly on and staking it down. It's easy to take down as well, and I had no problem fitting it back in the bag. We recently used it on a trip where it was 45ºF and raining, and we stayed warm and dry (granted we had a queen mattress and 0ºF sleeping bag as well). Plenty of space for our queen mattress, backpacks, and rug for shoes, one pocket on the side, and top shelf you can strap in. Zipper didn't catch on protective flaps. Lot's of airflow. Plenty of guy-lines.Cons, if you want to call them that: We knew what we were buying when we got this (e.g. this isn't a backpacking tent). So, it's not ultra light and it doesn't pack down to something you can carry in a backpack. The color is fine, just like the picture, but it is your only option. I love tents with two doors but oh well; this door was great.

Just Wonderful!
My little grandson just loves this tent. I set it up out in the backyard for him and he just thinks the world of it, his own little space in the wilderness. :D It’s got plenty of room and is just too easy to put up. One person can easily do it. It stands up to the rains too, so far dry as a bone. My grandson gives it a real workout, him and his dad and look forward to camping out there this summer. Not too big, not too small…Just right! This is a great product for a great price, no matter if you’re out in the woods or outback in our yard. :)

Great tent for short trips!
The tent is great for shorter trips. I say that because it's not as comfortable as other tents I have because it's just too short. If it were 6 in taller, it would be perfect. I have to be able to stand in my tent if I'm going to be staying in it for more than a couple nights. Super easy setup and take down and we even got it back in the bag easily. The most annoying thing about this tent is the zipper! It gets stuck a lot. The tent did great in strong winds and rain and even hail! No water got inside. Unless it's night time, it gets pretty hot in the tent with the rainfly on, so we took it off during the day. We fit a queen size mattress, but it would be much better with a full size. I just wish the tent was about a foot bigger and a foot taller. We will be buying a bigger tent for longer trips and keeping this one for short trips.

LOVE this tent
Bought this to take my two young children camping. I wanted something I could easily manage by myself, and this tent is perfect! We used it a bunch this summer and had no issues at all. VERY easy to put up and take down, even if you’re short (I’m 5’2”) and fits back in the bag nicely (you do need to squish the air out). On one of our camping trips there was a CRAZY storm overnight; we did have a tarp over the tent but our site flooded and the tent was sitting (in another tarp) in several inches of standing water. Not a drop of water came into the tent. I was so (pleasantly) surprised! I use a queen- size air mattress and there’s space all the way around for a couple of small bags, but not much else. I usually keep most of our stuff in my car; the rent is just for sleeping. This is our second CORE instant tent - we also have a 9 person but that one is trickier for me to manage on my own. This one is perfect!
