Shimano Brake Cable End Cap 100 Pack (1.6mm)

Color I wanted, great size that I can also use for shift cable caps if I want to, and so many that I don't think I'll ever run out! ..well not for a while anyway. They work perfectly! Definitely recommend this product. Very worthy of the Shimano name even if they're only caps.

I with there was something between a box of five and a box of 100 out there, but at this price, I went with 100. I guess I'll never have to buy them again. They work great on brake or derailleur cables. The Park Tool cable cutters have a nice crimping tool for these. Looks much nicer than using a pair of pliers.

Yup, these are basic silver colored aluminum cable crimps. If you work on bikes, you are gonna need 'em. These are the bigger size, so they can be used on brake cables (1.6mm) AND shifter cables (1.2mm, if you are not too picky it.) I crimp them shut with a round nose pliers, none have ever fallen off. BY FAR the best caps I've ever seen. I'm... I'm stunned, these things are just amazing. Alright. So, they're silver, and they're caps, AND they work on both shifter as well as brake cables. The only problem is that 100 just doesn't seem like enough. I need a thousand... TEN thousand, no... ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND of these so I can bathe in them, so I can submerge my body in these things. Then I'd grab them by the handful and drizzle them all over my bare chest.

Not a whole lot to say, they get the job done and didn't burn through the wallet.

There's not much to say about cable end caps except for that they are all uniform and exactly as described. There were actually102 pieces in the bag, so they don't cheat you on the count. They arrived quickly. I ordered the large quantity because of the small difference in price from the 25 pack, but for how many bikes my family has these should last us a few lifetimes and we won't have to worry about ordering more... EVER.

What's to say? These are Shimano brake cable ends. They fit perfectly and using proper tools install easily. Cost at a box of 100 is much better than purchasing a few in a pack. Will take me some time to use all these but this way I've got a good supply and didn't pay some silly $#@% price for a few of them.
