what a great case ! my last 3 cases in a row have been otterbox defenders and this one is on a completely different level compared to the defender - so much more thin and stylish and actually feels sturdier than the defender which gets loose after about a year. this mightyshell feels like one piece with the phone - super solid - and has quite a bit of rubber around the edges so it will probably provide almost as much protection as the defender. i actually wanted to return my iphone 6S Plus and exchange it for galaxy note 5, but when i realized mightyshell is not available for note 5 i decided to keep the iPhone - this is how much i love this case ! it keeps the iPhone looking elegant while also providing a reasonable degree of protection. of course i also installed a screen protector ( invisishell glass ), so factor that into the cost because some cases like otterbox defender include the screen protector, but those are usually very bad compared to invisishell. i would get both the mightyshell case and invisishell screen protector again in a heartbeat. i also have a one tigris pouch that this case fits perfectly into if i feel like tossing my phone inside a duffel bag.

I originally purchased another case for my new iPhone 6S Plus. I hated my new phone. It was heavy, awkward and hurt my hands (literally cutting them with sharp metal edges). I ordered a Speck MightyShell just to try a different case to see if it helped. This case is light and so comfortable in your hand. It also has a little "grip" to it so it doesn't slip out of your hand. It still easily slides in and out of your pocket. I also like that this case is designed to protect your phone from impact. I love my phone now! I can't believe the difference that the right case makes. I bought the lilac purple/raisin purple/soot with dark edges and I love the look. Purple is not too bright and it is a very cute case. This was a bit more expensive than my other case, but well worth the extra cost.

Best iPhone case I've ever had. Bought the Apple factory 6+ silicone case and it began tearing within a couple of months, so I looked for a replacement. Have had Speck cases before and was always happy, so I tried the Mighty Shell. I've had it about 5 months and it looks brand new. Softer edge material has a good grip and the shell back doesn't have a scratch on it. Back she'll is a bit slick, but hasn't been a problem for me. Only thing I might change is the size of the hole for the mute switch. I'm a tall guy and my fingers are a bit too big to easily access the button, but I do seem to get it done. Great job, Speck.

I have really mixed feelings about this case.... when I initially opened the package I felt somewhat disgusted with the product and had every intention of returning it for a refund.... it just seemed cheap and nasty and I had felt that I had been ripped off..... $50 for a phone case!!!!! Anyway... I did decide to try the case with my shiny new phone and that's when I had a change of heart. The case does actually offer a fair bit of protection for the phone and most of all once the phone had been fitted it did feel pretty good and offered a good grip. I now actually love the case, however, it is still way too expensive for what it is. All I can say is that making premium cases for iPhones must be extremely lucrative!

This case is a great choice! I love the color and the quality. The back is slightly textured plastic, and along with the flexible bumper it provides overall great grip. The buttons are placed correctly and easy to push, and the cut-outs for the mute button, speakers, and ports are correctly sized for easy access. The inside has a ripple pattern for shock absorption, and in the times that I've dropped my phone it's sustained a few scratches but has kept my phone protected. It fits snugly, and even though it adds a little bit of bulk it's not overwhelmingly large.

The case it self is built pretty solid but I think the durability of the outside rubber part could be a bit better in terms of the glue the use to stick it to the inner shell. I go to the gym 3-5 times a week and I got the case because I wanted to know that tossing it onto my notebook wouldn't eventually lead to damage to the phone. After about 5 months, the outer rubber part started to come off and now the case looks like a pair of clown shoes. Probably 5/5 for normal people, but you probably want to go with a more durable case if you are rough on your phone.

When I received this case, first impression was that the orange looked sharp, but the blue was more teal than blue. Fine - still a great, protective case and the orange dominated, naturally. But... it's now just over 3 months since I purchased it and the grey bordering on the side has come loose. I understand cases will be prone to wear and tear after a while or after significant drops, but for the siding to peel like that after no hard drops or scrapes 3 months in, for the price paid, is unacceptable. I normally stick to Spigen cases, but this orange case was eye-catching and from a brand I previously used and had confidence in. So I invested 3x what I'd normally pay ($32.xx) on a splurge purchase and am pretty disappointed.

I love this case, and it does a fantastic job of protecting my iPhone. The texture on the back of the case help keep it from slipping out of my hands, and the high, solid lip around the screen does a great job of protecting the screen, both on a surface (like a table) and in case of a fall. I don't use a screen protector on my phone, and with this case, I don't have any worries about the screen cracking with so much high-quality impact protection surrounding my phone!
