ZESHAN Table Power Socket Connectivity Box with UK Plug, USB Data, HDMI, VGA, Telephone and Internet Black

I got this to install in a boardroom table in my office and it looks very smart - the casing is a quality brushed metal finish, the lid closes with a nice action and the brush strip is a nice touch. It' a lot less expensive than some similar units I've found. Note: * It does need a quite a neat/precise hole cutting into the surface. I made a template and used a router, you could probably do it with a jigsaw if you carefully mark it out. But only get this if you are confident (or can get a tradesman to install it) * It doesn't have a USB charger (or any other electronics) built in, so if you want to use the USB for charging, you'll need to connect it to a charger. The reverse connection is also standard USB A socket, so you'll need a USB-A to USB-A cable to connect it. * Our UK plug design can make it a bit of a squeeze to plug in the recess, but regular plugs can fit in there. May be trickier with some adapters. Overall I am pleased with how this works and looks, especially as it will only be used occasionally. If I was using it daily, I'd be more likely to get a non-recessed unit.

The product was delivered promptly and well packaged. The unit itself is exactly as described, very high quality and once installed looks very professional. The instructions are clear on how big to make the cutout and the unit slots right in. It also comes with screws to secure the unit to the table top. I have it 4 stars for value for money because it isn’t cheap, but you are paying for a quality product.

The product looks good but the back of the unit where all the electrical connections are is exposed, therefore live terminals is accesible so we cannot use this as it. I plan to make some kind of cover for this so it can be used but I strongly suggest noone uses this with live connections exposed.
