I ordered a bunch of these for goodie bags for my son's 7th birthday party. I prefer to try to not give toys or candy, because honestly I hate it when he gets goodie bags filled with cheap stuff that breaks or clutters up my house. These were the perfect addition to the blank little books I also ordered from Amazon to give to each kid. They weren't super expensive and the kids got something they like and the parents were happy that it was something they could actually use. It was a win/win, and honestly I spent the same amount of money I would have spent on a bag filled with a bunch of junk.

They are so vibrant. I love the fact that they are neon colors.

Pretty colors

Bright colors, which are great for a wax resist with black ink on clay. Colors are easy recognizable can be seen from far away. Good value for the price.

Bought for grandchild

I have been on a crayon exploration lately. As an older adult, I enjoy the occasional abstract chicken scratching on a variety of papers. While I have found a number of Crayola products I like, these NEON crayons come off as less fluorescent and vibrant than I like. I have tried using them on regular drawing paper, rougher water color paper, and pure black construction paper.The color saturation is disappointing. None of the colors really stand out like they should on any paper. It is difficult to lay down a good layer that might help improve overall saturation of color. Most disappointing are the standard "neon" colors that should be super saturated... fluorescent green, orange, and yellow. I think if the crayons were formulated to be a bit softer it might help with the color delivery. These are OK for my collection, just not a favorite.
