Lovely straightforward arrangements
Nice variety of pieces. Like the inclusion of both classical and popular music. Well pitched at students who are between grades 2 and 3 Abrsm and gives opportunity to work on technique and pedalling.

pleasant short music pieces
A must have piano music book. I really enjoy playing the different and well-known pieces that it contains. Next step will be to try one of the other books of the series, the jazz one to start with.

Pretty good selection at the right level
This arrived the morning and seems like a good buy. There's a dozen arrangements of 'popular' tunes (not sure what that means really), and they all seem to be at exactly the level they say.The choice is fairly diverse but they're all interesting & well known enough to keep the motivation going. No obscure traditional folk songs as filler in here ! They're arranged to be at the right level. Some people will probably complain that they're too simplified, but this is after all a beginners book.I've checked the two Beatles tracks against my (official) Fakebook versions of the same and they're pretty similar. To give you an idea as to the level I've attached a copy of the first few bars of Eleanor Rigby. This is fairly representative of the level of the book. I hope the publishers don't mind.Surprisingly this book has no chord names. As it seems hard to find the actual listing before you buy it, here it is:Star Wars (Main Theme)The Lion Sleeps TonightThe Phantom of the OperaLa BambaA Whole New World (the Aladin theme)Music Box DancerColours of the Wind (from Pocahontas)Eleanor Rigby (Beatles)I Saw Her Standing There (Beatles)Pachelbel Canon (because no Faber book is complete without the PC !).He's a A Pirate (Pirates of the Caribbean). With the possible exception of Music Box Dancer which I'd never heard of before they're all fairly well known and are pretty much 'genre-free' meaning that they'll appeal to a wide audience. It turns out that MB Dancer is one of those songs that you hear everywhere but never knew the name off (if you don't believe me look it up on Spotify). All in all, seems an excellent choice. I plan to use it to work on my sight reading.

Nicely put together
My son have progressed through different FunTime Piano books from level 1 to now level 3 over the past 2 years. Nicely written pieces that match the levels.

Fun songs to play and not too complicated for an intermediate level player.
I purchased this for myself as a re-introduction into piano playing after being out of practice for several years. I would probably place these songs on a middle intermediate level. It only took a few times playing through them for me to feel more confident. They’re fun to play! Here are the songs:Star WarsThe Lion Sleeps TonightThe Phantom of the OperaLa BambaA Whole New WorldMusic Box DancerColors of the WindEleanor RigbyI Saw Her Standing TherePachelbel CanonMoonlight SonataHe’s a Pirate
