I bought this after seeing that protein shots exist. As I’ve started working out, I struggle to get enough (100g plus) protein. So to the reviewTASTENot great it is extremely sweet and fake tasting, like drinking blueberry compote. I usually have a chaser of water. In addition, being around an ounce I would have hoped I could take it in one shot but it’s too thick. You really need 3 mouthfuls. I sometimes notice a slight aftertaste but it’s not bad.EFFECTSI notice an almost immediate benefit. First it really feels filling in your stomach. So if you feel starving or nauseated it helps to calm that down or stabilize after a workout. In addition I think the salt and electrolytes are very helpful if you have been drinking water in your workout. I feel reinvigorated after taking this.Longer term effects are less certain but it is helping me have more protein when I work out and I am sure that is a benefit.I like that it may help connective tissue and I have to assume, being collagen it may also help hair and skin and nails.GROSS FACTORI find the “pre-digested” part a little gross. It makes me think of a mama bird. As I understand it this is achieved chemically and perfectly clean/healthy. Just don’t think too hard on it or you will be thinking “baby blue bird barf” like me.All in all if you need more protein or help recovering after a workout, this product is worth it.

So far I'm leaving a 5 star review. Just tried for the first time yesterday. Giving it the benefit of the doubt based off of other reviews. My main reason for reviewing already is because of the taste. I almost didn't order based off of other reviews. I know how I am with strong artificial flavors and after taste. I absolutely dread most pre workouts and artificially flavored things. To the point where I wont use them at all and waste it. This is strong and sour but really its a decent flavor. I just wanted to say if anyone is on the fence because they are scared of the taste, give it a shot. Also, its not as thick as some of the reviewers make it sound. That may have been because it was fresh off of the porch when I got home. I'll try it again today after it was sitting in the ac and update.

I've been taking this for a couple of months now. I can really feel a difference in my pain recovery. I'm 47 years old and constantly suffer from joint pain in my wrists after dumbbell work. Without Frog Fuel, my recovery can take weeks to heal and I have to modify my workouts to allow time to to rest. With Frog Fuel, my recovery takes less than a day and can handle all of my workouts pain free.The taste isn't bad, but is extremely sticky if spilled. I have received a box where a package busted open and was very messy when opening. A quick rinse off and the remaining packs were good to go.

My husband started using this after gastric bypass. It's almost impossible to get all the necessary protein without much of a stomach to put it in. I also started using it to boost protein and it's a good product.Pros - super convenient to throw in a purse or backpack, ready to drink - no mixing required, sugar free, only 60 calories for 15 grams protein, seems to be quality ingredients.Cons - very sticky if you get any on the outside of the package, contains Sucralose, the taste is way too strong. It tastes like snow cone syrup. The taste isn't bad, but it's totally over flavored. They need to dial that down quite a bit. Fortunately, one drink and you're done - these are only one ounce. I haven't noticed a smell.The cons aren't enough to make me stop using it. I noticed after using it daily for a few weeks my chronically weak nails began to strengthen and grow. This is something that has never happened with powdered collagen supplements I've used in the past, so there's definitely a difference. This is a good product that I'll keep using, but would love to have a version with a natural sweetener and a less intense taste.

My husband and I rely solely on Frog Fuel to function in the mornings. They’re clean, effective & give us caffeine/ energy quickly! The taste is a little sour at first, but you get used to them. We have these on auto ship, and have turned multiple friends of ours onto them as well. They’re small enough to throw in my purse, and I also leave a couple in my car, so I can always have one, if needed. No crash later in the day, just good clean energy. The price is less than what you would pay for energy drinks or Starbucks every day, and a lot better for you!

I recommend this all the time to people. Got a lot of guys at my fire dept to use it. It works amazing. Helps repair muscle fast from working out or even injuries.

I’ve been using Frog Fuel for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say I feel a real difference after taking it. I feel stronger and more energized during my workouts—it’s a noticeable boost that sets in pretty quickly. However, the taste is pretty brutal. It has a strong chemical and medicinal flavor with an artificial sweetness on top that makes it hard to get down. I still use it because it works, but I definitely have to brace myself every time I take a shot. If they improved the taste, this would be a 5-star product hands down.
