I took a chance on these and am not disappointed. My scepticism about them being battery operated proved wrong. They're great. Firstly, to note that they say they are weather proof but best installed in a sheltered place like under the eaves, which is what I've done and would definitely recommend. Installation and set up is really easy for anyone half descent at DIY. The sensor can't be adjusted so I had to mask off half of it with black insulating tape to stop the unit being triggered by passing cars. This is at no detriment whatsoever in the context of this review though. Great level of illumination as can be seen in the photo. So all in all, five stars. Great buying.

Great lights, bought for my mum in the front and back of her house. Easy to assemble, lights up a fair distance for the right amount of time and are quite bright. Would recommend.

Bought the 2 x 2 packs. Installed three lights - they work very well with great range for motion detection and good brightness that lights up a bigger than expected area. Unfortunately one light did not work. The clip that holds the battery compartment secure had snapped, so the batteries weren't being held in place properly. Even when physically pushing the compartment together, the light still did not work (I tried it on one of the other other lights and that one did work) which leads me to think theres more to this issue than just the broken plastic clip. Maybe the LED is also damaged? Overall, really like the lights and they've been up over 2 weeks and working as expected. Sadly loses 1 star because of the one light that came damaged.

These are easy to install. Positioning is good. They come on for the perfect amount of time (for me. They don’t stay on long after movement is stopped which is good). And they have a good circle of bright light which can be accurately positioned. Great value

Decent lights, nice and compact in size, easy to install competitively priced, efficient use of battery power and they last for years ass they are durable. I have installed them in remote parts of our garden and they are sufficiently sensitive to monitor our dog as she wend her way through the garden at night. Additionally, I have paired these lamps with our amazon blink cameras along the boundaries of our read garden and they are less noticable than the model produced specifically for those cameras and whilst not quite as good, they are less noticable and produce an adequate area of illumination to record images. Decent item. We have some very similar models sold by Mr Beams which we have had in the garden for years and they still function.

Decent light but the PIR sensor is very variable in terms of distance to trigger the light - sometimes it is triggered at 5m and other times I have got less than 2m away before it switches on.

Thought I'd installed these quite easily, but neither of them worked. I started again. Firstly, the battery compartment is not fit for purpose. It says quite clearly that you need a C battery, but the battery compartment would hold something twice their size. It's difficult to get the batteries in as there is so much spare space, they tip to one side. Once you finally line them all up and close the compartment, they rattle about like a bag of marbles. Due to needing to point these downwards from a height, I am fairly sure the batteries lose connection with their points. As a result, they do not illuminate with motion. As I sit here with both sets, I find they illuminate if I shake them. This would be really useful if I had a small slave in the garden ready to jitter in case of movement. Once they are back on the wall, they register no movement whatsoever, regardless of what I do underneath them. I will attempt to return these and won't be trying a replacement.
