Part worked perfectly and was exactly what I needed to resolve my problem.
I used the part to stabilize my gate opener correctly.

Steel pole bracket
The 4 inch bracket made it much easier to mount on steel round pole. Had to modify bracket with grinder to make it fit tight but that wasnt too hard. The hard part is drilling through the pole. Definantly recommend the bracket for any round pole.

Great adapter for 3" pipe.
Seems heavy duty. Was easy to install. I don't understand a couple of reviews talking about it not staying in place. If installed correctly on a pipe fence post, I can't see how it would move.

Works great on 2-3/8 post.
A must have, if you’re mounting to a pole, rather than a post. Best to weld instead of using bolt kit, ours was turning on pole every time it rained.

It worked but barely.
I had to do a work around to make it work. I wasn’t happy what I got for the price but it did work.
