I liked the taste. It tasted just like any other Extra Virgin oil. For me, it was more virgin than some of the common extra virgin oils you find at grocery stores. It also tasted good for dipping also. Good luck.

Yes but I would not advise it. The flavor of this oil is strong and distinct - it may alter the flavor of your cake in an undesirable way.It is excellent for baking, grilling, frying or as a marinade base. Delicious, very flavorful oil.
