No, the day of the week can be in English or French. You can set the watch for either.

Yes, you just need a straightened paperclip to push the pins out and a hard surface to push them all the way back in.

It comes as is if you require strap to be made smaller, as I did, you will have to take to a jeweller for re-sizing.

Is this suitable for 6.2 inch wrists ???

My wrist is 7" but the links are 9mm so you could take out 2-3 as appropriate. The watch body should fit across the wrist comfortably enough.
