Perfect. Took less than 5 minutes from start to finish to replace. Works like a charm!

I originally gave the 5⭐️ when I first installed it. That was over 2 years ago I think (I just now have had my car for 3 years). It was super easy, but has held up extremely well for somebody that’s always opening the console in addition to nervous ticks that force me to click the latch constantly if I don’t have something to do with my hand while in my car. Quality product.

Perfect for a 2016 Mazda CX-5. I watched a 3 minute YouTube video. Ordered this part. Received it the next day. The whole repair start to finish takes literally 5 mins. You just need a small screw driver to pry the inside cover off of the console lid. Use you a regular straight screwdriver to push the metal pin out (push the pointed end, not the flat end). Grab the pin end with a pair of longnose pliers and slide the pin out.Remove the broken part, and the spring. Put in the new part with the spring, push the pin back thru and then install the cover back into the console. You're Done. Saves you a lot of money $$$ by not having to take it into the car dealer too. Easy to install, good value for the money, not sure about the durability but if it breaks again at least its an easy fix.

Was easy to install, fits fine and works as advertised. Just pop the inside plastic off, drive out the old one and put the new one in. Can be done with a screwdrier and small punch (or even a nail or something to drive out the pin that holds it)

I googled video first to make sure that I know how to do it, then I placed order here. It was super easy but required suitable tools. Really save me time and money.

Life saver!

The latch broke on my mazda cx 5 console lid, and I had been struggling with fixes to keep it closed. Finally looked on youtube, and what do you know?! This handy little piece is the answer! There are no instructions with the piece, so you definitely need to find a good youtube video (my first attempt I put it in upside down). I imagine that I will have to replace it again down the line, as it's plastic, just like the original, but I'll know it's an easy fix for not a lot of money. Definitely cheaper than taking it to the dealer to be fixed!!

So, my 5year old son broke my center console latch (2016 Mazda CX-5) by kicking it, so i going this as a replacement. It installed pretty easy and has worked just as well as the original. I have been using this latch for over a year and would recommend it to others.
