SPT SF-1691C DC-Motor Drop Ceiling Fan, 16"

I recently moved my bedroom from upstairs, with a high ceiling and ceiling fan, to downstairs with a drop ceiling and no fan. I grew up in South Florida, which means I have to have a fan on to sleep, even in the dead of winter, so I went looking for options. I came across this and decided to give it a try- I'm glad I did! It was a breeze to install and once installed is quiet and VERY effective at giving me just what I needed (constant circulation of air). I have found the low setting to be perfect and the remote is effective as long as it is pointed at the fan. I wish the remote had a more flattened bottom (I put velcro on the bottom and then velcro on the side of the nightstand to keep it in place), and the red speed indicator on the fan body control unit really should auto-shutoff because I had to use tape over it to be able to sleep better without the light shining, but both of those are easy fixes and not something that should cost the product a star. I am exceptionally happy with the product.

These drop ceiling fans are easy to install, look great, and do a great job circulating the air!

This product worked great. Easy wiring no issues. This runs super quiet. I give this 10 gold stars. This is the second fan I bought. It has the ability to funnel all cob webs and dust. Great for cleaning the air. I replaced the older fan so I can give it a thorough cleaning. When this new one gets dirty the old will go back up. I love this fan....no this is not a paid review.

I like it for the convenience of where I can place it in the room and the circulation is fairly well
