A Gun in My Gucci: Two Outsiders Take Down the Chicago Mob

WAY too much about the FBI agent
And nowhere near enough about what she learned from Ken Eto, the most important informer in Chicago Mob history and a fascinating man. Too bad, he knew everyone and everything.

Excellent book on the inner workings of FBI and Crime Families
Excellent book. I really appreciated the way Elaine Smith wrote about Joe once she got to know him. He was always a gentleman. It brought tears to my eyes to learn what he went through as a witness and appreciated Elaine for seeing that he was taken care of. I'm glad his last years were happy. Thank you Elaine for the words you spoke at his memorial service and reprinted in this book. I would appreciate a chance to write or E-mail you. I dated Joe over a period of four years.

Attention grabbing story
Wonderful book and so insightful on workings of the Chicago mob. Growing up in Chicago we knew the mob had power but did not understand the mechanics and extent of the evil. Also great insight to the FBI and the extent to which they go to protect us Americans. Book is extremely well written and holds your attention. One of those can't-put-down books.

self serving ex Federal Agent bad mouthing the hard working members of the Chicago Police Department.
Another self serving I was in the FBI Book. Too bad she doesn't have the class or professionalism as William Rohmer another FBI Agent who put his deeds in print without all the look at me stuff that EC Smith likes to rehash over and over again. A book better suited for the cafeteria at 209 S. Dearborn Chgo I'll.

2 in the head... He should be dead.
A princess with gun, the jock with sig, and a bureaucracy called the FBI. Joe Eto knew what waited for him at the end of a gun. But he never expected what he found when he met "The Smiths".
