Good Upgrade
A good first upgrade in my opinion, can generate good enough spin to learn with. So for the price can't complain.

Bought It Cheaper, Definitely Worth it!
Bought 2 of these at a massive discount from Warehouse 5 months ago. What a steal!Though an amateur, I can definitely see that the rubber is of satisfying quality - allows some good hits and mediocre spins and hasn't gotten any stiffer. The handle has a bit of an interesting ("smart") shape but it took exactly one game to get used to and it feels very natural already.On the other hand, I'm not certain this bat costs £30 (having bought it for less than half-price) and I can definitely see that it may not work for higher-level players.No balls or bag included!

Good bat, but the grip needs sanding down before first use
Good bat, but it arrived with the handle being made of very crudely cut, glued together wood panels which were very uncomfortable to hold (picture the anxiety of getting splinters when turning it in your hand).They have very hard edges and are not filed or polished, so it feels like you are holding freshly cut lumber.I sanded the handle down using sandpaper and it is now more comfortable to hold - although this does scratch the logo.
