Bought this before moving my son into his Dorm for college. Super useful. One of the first items I used it on was his extension cord for next to his bed. The bed frame is metal, so I put a strip on the back of the extension box and stuck it the metal post. It didn't move all year with heavy use. When packing him up, it took a bit of hand power, but I was able to unstick it with zero residue left behind. I can't help but think of a gazillion uses for this! My only warning would be careful with painted walls. At his particular Dorm, it would take the paint off if you were using a large piece. We cut teeny tiny pieces to hang a couple of posters? It didn't effect the paint when removing. So in that case- it really had to do with the size of the piece and the weight of what you were sticking. My only thought when using was wishing it was a little less thick. This stuff is at least 1-2mm thick. For example if you were hanging a poster, it will not sit flat against the wall.

Needed super sticky double sided tape to hold up a small (about 24”) led light. Purchased Gorilla brand double sided tape that lost hold after a day and the light kept falling down. I had thought a trusted brand name would be better but it didn’t work at all. This tape is a must have item. Just follow the instructions such as cleaning the site and drying. It didn’t work for cloth rugs from getting bunched up after a while, but instructions tell us we shouldn’t use it on rough surfaces anyway. I didn’t read that part. I like the tape and will buy again.
