I’ve been using this charging case for two days now and it’s working well. I did have some weird battery glitchy things this morning where it was plugged in all night and then died immediately first thing after unplugging it. I was able to turn the charging case on and charge the phone that way and it charged up the phone perfectly and hasn’t died since (a glitchy old battery is why I bought this case in the first place). So far I’m happy with my purchase.

DONT BUY!!! I love battery cases and have been using them for the last few years. I’ve tried out a few different brands, and a good one will typically last me a year before starting to having issues. This one is complete garbage. I’ve only had it for the last 5 days and I’ve been having nothing but issues. 1. It’s outer layer is already wearing off from normal use. See picture. 2. It doesn’t charge half the time when I plug it in over night. I have brand new charger cords and have tested multiple cords and plugs with the same result. 3. It turns itself off ALL THE TIME while I’m trying to charge my phone. I have watched it many times sitting on my desk charging my phone, and then suddenly turn itself off. Every time it did the battery was at least a quarter full, and most of the time it was at least 3/4 full. 4. IT LITERALLY HAS DRAINED MY PHONE BATTERY A COUPLE OF TIMES. I went bed with my phone around 80% the other night, had all my apps closed, and woke up to it being at 20%. The case didn’t charge at all overnight even though it was plugged in. I left it plugged in and my showed that it was charging, so I sat in bed and Started to play a game on my phone. Within about 2 minutes I got the 10% battery notification, which was crazy. My phone has never drained so fast before this. I closed the game and saw that my phone had switched itself to low power mode. The case was literally draining my phone battery right before my eyes. I’m genuinely worried that my phone’s battery has been compromised because of this stupid case. Ever since then I’ll lose about 2% of battery life per minute while in use, which is insanely fast. I feel like this $25 case has ruined my $500 phone.

It’s a great case. I went from having a charge in my phone for about 8 hours to over 3 days.

This is a update to my first review (I deleted the 1st review). 1. This product does not come with a charging cord - “but” you are to use your iPhone charging cable that comes with the phone. My fault in the 1st review I did not read the fine print. 2. BE CAREFUL, I always install and remove my phone at an angle that puts very little pressure on the plug that connects the phone, many reviews talk about plug breaking easy (yes, if you take your iPhone out and pull the top to far away from the case, it will break the plug) take care and you’ll have no problems. 3. When charging, I do not charge with phone in case. Some reviews State battery problems with Iphone. This is not an inconvenience to me because I get a full day of battery plus case battery charge. 4. Just realize, when you have battery case on phone - you “CANNOT” plug your iPhone into your ApplePlay and use your cars radio system for your phone. (My car is older without Bluetooth). So - on a long drive - I’ve kept my old non battery case to switch so I can use ApplePlay. (Not a big inconvenience-because I will plug the battery case into a port to charge if or when needed). Overall, would I recommend? Yes, I golf and this case allows my phones golf gps app to work perfectly for maybe 27 to 36 holes without issue. My IPhone is old, I’ve been used to needing to charge my iPhone throughout the day, now (based on use) I can go through a whole day without issue. Bottom line - for the price - it’s a good product - “if this case lasts a year - I’m my opinion it will be a great product”!!

UPDATE: STOPPED WORKING 6 MONTHS LATER☹️ YES IT’S BULKY AND MAKES MY PHONE HEAVY BUT SO FAR IT WORKS FOR MY ALWAYS LOW BATTERY 2017 IPHONE PLUS. I DON’T LIKE OR WANT ANY NEW PHONE THAT’S OUT. WHEN MY PHONE GETS DOWN TO 50%, I JUST PUSH THE BUTTON TO CHARGE IT, IT’S QUICK, TAKES LESS THAN 10 MINUTES. MY OLD PHONE IS ALWAYS IN THIS BATTERY CASE, UNTIL I NEED TO CLEAN THEM. THE BATTERY CASE IS TOLERABLE FOR WHAT IT NEEDS TO DO, I LIKE IT ;)

Positives: charges plus iPhone size about 2 times when completely charged Smooth, grippy rubber back, nice rounded corners Takes Lightning plug like the phone itself Minuses: Heavy, holds heat when charging or being charged Very tight fit, hard to get in & out. Male plug that has to fit into phone jack is stiff and doesn’t pivot to help don the case. Slow to charge, feels like forever. Can’t use magnetic holder clips on my car vent anymore

Shipping package new, professional & clean!! Arrival time was smooth and fast!! The case worked right away. My teenage son was thrilled — super (satisfied customer)

This product is unreliable. The first one I received June 2025 was Dead On Arrival, and was replaced. The replacement lasted 7 months (to today) then simply stopped functioning at all - won't take a charge, doesn't function as a battery. A previous purchase in 2020, I *think* the same vendor, lasted 5 years before the connector to the iPhone broke, not from mishandling. So you take your chances with this vendor - it might last several years, it might last 7 months, it might be DOA.
