Awesome on induction
The 4.2qt saute pan is extremely even heating on my 10.5" burner of my cooktop. It heats up pretty quickly on medium heat; I rarely if ever turn up the heat beyond medium. It holds an impressive amount of heat; when you throw in food, it sizzles and keeps on sizzling. I also have the 3qt saute;, which is equally impressive.I love the lack of rivets and the Silvinox finish. I have several Demeyere pans, and the finish is the same as the day I bought them. Other SS pans darken with use.Be aware this pan is heavy and large. It does not fit in my sink, so it's a bit of a pain to wash. Worth the effort however.

No rivets prevent bacterial buildup
This product line is fantastic. Warning, it is heavy but does it cook well, well yeah! The heavy bottom ensures that the heat distribution is even and after using it, I have to say it is very even across the whole bottom of the pan.

Great pan
Very high quality pan, it's pretty heavy and large, and that allows it to keep the heat well and transfer it evenly. My mom uses it and likes it. Easy to clean as well.

Another excellent pan
This is the third pan I have in this line. Very responsive - ready to go to the races. First thing cooked in it came out great. Added the oil to the pan when it was cold. Cleanup was easy.

Demeyere, when you want a product that exceeds the marketing hype.
I have used Demeyere cookware for over 35 years, and it is one of the few products still available that has not been cheapened, outsourced to China, and otherwise ruined. It is simply the best. Please think carefully when buying your induction cookware. If you REALLY want 30 year cookware, Demeyere is your only choice.

Heavy and Hard to Clean + Rim of Lids Are Easily Damaged!
I was very prejudiced in favor of this expensive pan when I bought it, but time has shown that the cooking surface is extremely difficult to clean. Since the pan is large and heavy, sometimes I just say, "Good Enough!" which is horrible. I tried putting it in the dishwasher but it did not come clean. I think it important to add that husband + Demeyere brand cleaner + lots of time does get good results, but he does not like doing this chore. If you drop the lid, the rim will be bent just enough that the pans no longer retain steam properly!

Very disappointed in the vaunted reputation of this company
This pan arrived from william sonoma with no weld attached on one half of the top lid handle, and the weld on the pot itself is half on and half off. Very disappointed in the vaunted reputation of this company. I will try one exchange and if i see bad welds again, i will go back to all clad rivet style.

Does not fit Rangemaster oven
This design is supposed a fantastic compromise between cooking performance (almost like copper for responsiveness, even heat spread all the way to the edges and heat storage), non stickiness (not quite Teflon but beats other steel) and low maintenance (everything is sealed with stainless steel and unlike Teflon which breaks down at 200c this can go to 350).But sautee pan has to fit in the oven - and for ones with non removable handles manufacturer need to test them in most common ovens. It fails to fit into my rangemaster oven by just under an inch. I’m gutted, but other than that it’s superb.
