Good quality
Said it was easy to install, could not remove the bumper facial, ended up taking it to a shop.

Stopped working
After a short time the controller would keep the trailer running lights on even with car lights off. Need another controller now.

Check for proper wiring assembly from the maker.
I paid to have my mechanic install this wiring harness. After installed, my brake lights were all crazy. Some didn't light up at all, some lighted up with the hatch was open but not when close... the back up lights came when the brake was applied. All kinds of craziness. After more than an hour of chasing down the problem, it turned out the problem was that two wires on a "T" connector were literally crossed and not plugged into the proper opening on the opposite side plug. Fortunately my mechanic is a very good diagnostician and was able to locate and fix the improperly assembled product. This cost me an additional morning off work and $60 worth of labor. It works fine now but I can't say I'm impressed with my first purchase of a Curt product.

Mislabeled product and definitely Wrong plug style for 09 volvo xc70 my return time expired , garbage bin destination wasted money

Easy to install.
Very easy to install, if I can do it most people can.

Good product but not inexpensive.
Good precise instructions,only minus I would say is very long wire that had to be run from the back all the way to front to connect to plus pole of car battery situated in engine compartment.Otherwise all works as it should.
