I have a few torches and the LED is super bright, using a rechargeable 18650 battery which is better than using alkaline disposable batteries, the torch is a valuable accessory around the house/garage/shed/car. Item comes with a charger for the 18650. An excellent gift for Christmas or birthdays

It was a good one. I bought for my children. The light brilliant. The option is good and it is provided option with rechargeable and non rechargeable batteries.

This was purchased mainly for when walking my dog at night over parkland. The brightness is adequate and the torch fits well into the hand or pocket. On wide angle beam it lights up a good area which does provide a feeling of safety. On tight beam at a guess I would say it lights up a small area about 150 yards away. The idea of being able to use AAA or Lithium batteries is nice. The items delivered (box, AAA batteries and holder, soft case, etc) is also good. The torch is well protected in the case which has a foam rubber lining. Two things in my mind let the torch down. First is the on/off green button which is located at the end of the handle. This makes it difficult to switch the torch off/on when carrying something (like a dog on the end of a lead) in the other hand. The position of the button means using two hands or holding the torch in a similar way that TV detectives do by holding the torch in an upwards facing fist which allows the thumb to be used. It feels very odd. The other downside is the zoom operation. This necessitates sliding the front of the case to and fro. On my torch it is a very loose movement and easily slips. This may not be true of every torch sent out. Overall, it does the job and at a very reasonable price. It has only been in use with me for a few days so I cannot comment on the quality of the battery, but so far it hasn't let me down. If you are looking for a handy size torch with adequate light and are prepared to do gymnastics when switching it on and off then this might be the one for you.

This torch is used nightly by me and emits a powerful light, holds its charge well and battery is removed to charge overnight. I don't know how often I charge it, but it's at long intervals.
