They're light and easy to install but I have a lot of experience at it so it went well for me
Springs installed easily also put new bushings in them energy bushings are the best I haven't really got to check the level yet because I'm building all chassis parts but at this point Springs are very nice

In complete order.
Only 1 of 4 spring arrived. The price may be great but not if it can't be used.

What a difference
If you have a Samurai, you can bet the springs are shot. I was amazed that these not only give a little extra lift, but they ride fairly smooth. Shipping leaves much to be desired though, as all the plastic guides on the springs were destroyed in shipping by tossing these in a big box with no individual wrapping. They work well with the stock length KYB shocks I used also.

Missing both front springs and 1 rear springs only 1 rear spring was shipped not in box just by its self

Replace your old, worn out suspension
Big improvement over the old, worn, stock springs. Give my Suzuki about 2 inches of lift. The only thing that I had to do besides bolting them on was enlarge the hole in the spring mount/shock mount. I used a step down drill bit. Go ahead and replace the leaf spring bushings and shocks/steering stabilizer too. My Samurai rides and handles so much better now.

Better than nothing
These springs get rave reviews, but I honestly don't know why. I had literally two broken springs on one of my rear leafs, and I replaced both sides with these new leafs and honestly, the ride quality was not impacted noticably at all. Not really better, not really worse. So I guess that is all fine? Thought I was getting an upgrade though.I have two other issues as well-1. The leafs have different ratings. There are symbols on the leafs which are factory printed that tell you if the spring was under spec, at spec, or over spec. So the "over spec" spring would be best suited to be on the Drivers side- since that potentially always has more weight when driving solo. However, this information is not provided anywhere. There are no instructions included, AND, nothing on the Old Man Emu website talks about this. I installed the "over spec" spring on my passenger side, because who knew what these random symbols meant without any instructions or context. As a result, my passenger side sat higher than the drivers side and I had to take EVERYTHING apart and swap them around.Old Man Emu wasted hours and hours of my life because they didn't include two freaking sentences about the meaning behind these symbols. AND, also, it's a total crapshoot which springs you're receive. Maybe you'll receive two under spec, maybe you'll remove 4. Who knows until you order. I ordrered 4 springs and got 3 different specs.2. 1 year later and my springs look like shit. My Samurai is a weekend warrior, it doesn't seem more than 3,000 maybe 4,000 miles tops in a given year. Between now, and 1 year ago, thanks to a pandemic, I saw maybe <1000 miles for the entire year. And yet the springs look like crap and are rusting all over the place.Super disappointed in general. I'd rate these like a 3 out of 10 really. That said, what are the other options???
