Finally a VHF/Hi-V amp that works! Also does UHF pefectly.
I've dropped my cable TV service a couple of years go and switched to streaming (via Sling) to save money. Unless you are in a limited number of metro areas you'll not get your local channels. I wanted/needed my local channels. My solution was to switch to Sling and use an AirTV anywhere TV receiver with a moderate-cost outdoor antenna to get my local channels. Accessing the two VHF channels of interest proved hit or miss (rain, wind,etc.). My first attempt was the Winegard UHF/VHF outdoor amp. It came with app that let you see signal quality to add in pointing. Is improved by reception but wasn't perfect. I got decent reception on the VHF I wanted most. The other was better but still pixelating. The VHF side of the amp died recently. I purchased the ADIJuice and just installed it. Worked immediately with perfect reception on both VHF channels. I had the AiryTVanyhere scan rescan for available channels and all my local national channels were Green (the best), local low-power stations where Yellow (most where Red before), and channels more than 100 miles away were Red. The quality of the build was much better than the Winegard. The Juice and its power injector are all metal. The Winegard was plastic and the injector flimsy. Works great!! Wish I had bought this a week earlier as I missed my football game. Read the negative reviews. For protection I bought mine from Amazon which both sold and shipped by unit.

Added channels
I’m pleased so far. I have 2 antennas going into this up on a mast about 13 feet off the ground. (Antennas are the exact same brand and I’m using the exact same length of coax cable) I’m 30 miles from one market and 50 miles from the other. I pointed both antennas at the market that’s 50 miles away. ( I didn’t have good results pointing the antennas at each different market) I was getting 30 to 40 channels at first, with this setup I’m getting 102 channels from both markets don’t get me wrong some are not great, but at least 85% of the 102 are at least 75 out a 100 on a signal scale. The picture on HD channels is spectacular. I have an old Channel Master (15 years) 1 output distribution amp that runs 3 tvs a Hd homerun Dvr and dish network is still hooked up ( not for long though lol) though a 3 way splitter where it comes into the house, and another 3 way splitter at the tv farthest away where the Dvr and dish hopper are. As far as the power inserter went I made a loop from the antenna into the nearest bedroom so I could plug the power inserter into an inside outlet and back out to go to the splitter. Ground all outside splitters, the mast and the Juice amp, (this is important) Everything is working great at this time, I can run everything at the same time and so far no issues. I’m very pleased. I can’t guarantee you will get the same results, I am by no way an expert at this by any means. Again it worked for me, this is at a rural setting. Good Luck

Not a cure all
It is clear from my reading of other reviews that many people don't understand what this product does and how it is used. Receiving (or not receiving) a particular station is the sum total of: Antenna Antenna placement The quality of your receiver (your TV) The quality of your cable The length of your cable and all devices and connectors between the TV and the antenna. This amplifier addresses mostly only one problem. It is designed to compensate for the reduction in signal strength that happens as the signal travels through the cable. The longer the cable, the more loss you have. You will also have loss as you go through couplers and splitters. The JUICE captures the signal at the antenna before any losses occur and boosts it to compensate for the expected losses down the line. If the signal is no good at the antenna, boosting it will not make it better. It is possible it might make a bit of difference on a marginal signal sent to a poor receiver. If you paid $400 for a no-name big screen TV, chances are that TV's tuner is not the greatest. It is also possible to have too strong a signal. In experimenting, I found that the JUICE made things worse (on my TV) if the cable length was less than 50 feet and no splitter in line. If you have more than 100 feet of cable and don't get all the stations you want, you definitely want an amplifier, and this is a good one. If your cable run is less than 50 feet, I would try other things first, like a bigger, better antenna. The JUICE got me more stations and I'm happy with my purchase, but unless you have a long cable run, you can't count on it helping you get that elusive station. Every installation is different and sometimes you just have to use trial and error to find out what works.

***First things first. This backfeeds power to the booster which will be mounted as close as practical to the antenna. Boosters also boost everything, including both signal and noise, thus a booster is best used with a better antenna. This preamplifier system takes the signal and boosts the signal so it'll survive the trip down the coax cable to the TV. If you have a antenna 20 feet or closer to the TV (based on cable length) there's generally no need for a preamp. *** Besides all that, this works as expected for my setup with 100' of RG6 cable from the Antenna, through a surge arrestor, and finally to the TV.

Thought this would work better than my old $30. RCA pre-amplifier, but not noticeably different in strengthening the signals of the channels I already receive.

I already have one unit and it worked great. I recently purchased a second unit to install at my parents house and this one absolutely does not work at all. Maybe the power injector?? With the power injector in the circuit and powered, there is absolutely no signal. Without the power injector and a channel master amplifier, the results are quite good.
